It was a close fight, Jan took it with the wrestling but the stand up was close. Izzy definitely got OUTWRESTLED though, he really felt that 20 pound difference. He took shots from the legendary polish power really well though, which was surprising. Everyone said if he got touched once he was going to sleep.

The commentary team were extremely biased tonight; it’s such a shame. Joe and Dc made it out if it were a close fight, whilst I on the other hand had it 4-1 to Jan; 3rd round was close though, but the rest were clear as day.
How do they even judge during fights? Thought Adesanya controlled the octagon and the distance early on in the first 3 rounds, and early in round 5, I had Adesanya winning or at least a draw... Understand Jan winning round 4 and 5 for sure... Have to watch it again...
Stand up was good, Jan should have done that same combo that he used on Reyes, he landed one tonight and I thought he was gonna keep doing it but Jan team gave him a good game plan. Great win Champ.

Either way, he fought a smart fight and he and his team used what was appropriate to warn the victory. I know a lot of people might be disappointed because there was no huge knockout on either side, but I thought it was very entertaining.

I watched it again, commentators didn't acknowledge Jan was winning significant strikes in 2 of the first 3 rounds and the 1 round Izzy won was real close. Last 2 rounds were 10/8 for sure. Izzy did nothing. So Jan won 4 out of 5 rounds and commentators at the end of the fight were carrying on like it was a controversy. Disgusting commentary.
