- How is it possible that we only have 1 more Top 20 after this before the summer is over? (I was much younger when we started Top 20 Tuesdays). In this one you'll find the hardcore Mormons in the family (eldest son, Uncle Karlton) demanding that the line "I ain't got no cigarettes" from 'King Of The Road' be changed. This has always made just about everyone else wince when Don sings the white washed lyric.
There's a goofy version of '8 Days A Week'. But best of all, our own Nancy Sinatra doppelganger, Carolyn gives a hearty performance with the week's #1 song.
The visual of Jon & Ray behind their taller cousins!! LOL These have all been so fun to watch. Great '60s looks, energy, effervescence...!
I think the top 20 segment of that 1965 king family show was the greatest.
The names on the sweatshirts are reminiscent of the Mickey Mouse Club. LOL.
All of the Tuesday Top 20 videos have been absolute fun to watch! Thanks! Nobody brings off a show better than "The Kings" Of The Road...The King Family! ...Minus the cigarettes of course! Don't fret or sweat it so much. We all have our belief systems. I'm a Messianic Jew and kosher...lots of stuff I can't have either. ...It's all good. ...Looking forward to what will be the next and last offering of The Top 20 Tuesdays. Sigh. I know though you'll present us with other great entertainment treats. Keep on keeping on!
Liked Liza and Jamie's duet.
Thoroughly enjoyable! Smiling faces, lively dancing, singable songs, missing King Cousins: Chris, Tom, Bill, Candy!
Ric's got the moves!!
Wow! Ric really can shake it!
Awww don is so cute.....
This must be one of the first top 20s. It just seems like everybody's not too sure on the choreography. And my favorite King Cousins Xan has her hair in a bob and not in the familiar flip.
The interesting thing is how many songs they repeated from week to week in this segment.
First
Second!
Peter Noone is not a nice person at all.
Ric was really cute and really into this.
Did the cousins ever get into trouble behind the scenes?
I doubt it! No time with high school, rehearsals, and performances. It's amazing what they accomplished!
They made television very special!
