- Sitting Pretty in my Tommy Hilfiger Adaptive ;) “Your disability is an honor not a burden.” It’s a mantra of sorts because it reminds me of how we’re uniquely made and can handle life with a greater ABILITY to succeed, because physical limitations won’t stop us from anything we want to do. this is the coolest thing ever. tbh I've never seen adaptive clothes before you and TH rolled in with 'em, and I use mobility aids like joint braces or sometimes a manual wheelchair for my disability. the spread of adaptive clothes would be SO game changing for my 2 brothers with autism (who have to wear very elastic, plain cotton clothes bc of motor issues buttoning/zipping, adverse feeling from certain fabrics + fits, etc)!!

"THIS IS SO DOPE" Oh yes it is. It's a great idea to make adaptive clothing because moms around me adjust clothes for their kids all the time and the struggle and the effort they put in to in, even if it's just putting a velcro instead of a zipper on a store bought jacket, is enormous and this would be so much better for everyone but have you seen the prices at Tommy Hilfiger?? I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one disabled person who WON'T be ABLE to afford it... And that's what makes me really sad.
Tommy prices for clothes whether they are the adaptive line or not, are all pricey because it's a top fashion brand. lol. Luckily with a brand as big as Tommy's creating adaptive clothing they will influence other brands at all price points to create adaptive clothing as well. And for a top brand to even recognize clothing for people with disabilities is a big deal too. We gotta get started first then change the game forever :)
