  • On this episode, you'll learn...
🌑 How the Star Trek narrative serves as a metaphor for understanding the complex and unpredictable influences of Uranus in astrology and in our lives.
🌒 About the astrological qualities of Uranus-change, unpredictability, and revolution-and how these sudden changes can be part of a higher plan that we may not immediately understand.
🌓 That while Uranus may bring about situations that seem negative or chaotic, the overarching message is one of hope: these disruptions could be guiding us back to our intended path, enriching our lives in ways we can't yet see.

Yes! I could never watch Star Trek when it was mainstream (it seemed too hokey for my Uranus conjunct Mercury in the 8th house, I suppose)
But here, all these years later @Christopher gave me chills and wrung tears out of my heart from his empathetic story telling !

Ah Christopher! I remember Star Trek the first series very well - I am that old, too. The whole franchise was a wonderful thing and I loved it all. It has reduced me to tears many times with it's pertinent story lines. It was a game changer in many ways, with inter-racial kisses - well, a black person being something other than a servant, for a start. Then later, the whole questioning of gender identity - way, way before its time. We shall see how it all plays out with Uranus. I'm Taurus sun - it has been interesting. Thank you so much. Lots of love to you xxx

About the higher plan that we may not immediately understand, if you suddenly became aware and begin to understand and spread the word to help others understand, from the perspective of those that do not understand, they would be threatened and perceive that as radical madness amd attempt to silence and censor the messengers that sees it from a different perspective. Time is slippery and hard to capture for the time travelers working to change or distort their subjective realities. We each have this capability to make it what we ultimately feel is the calling of the soul. Trick is to not fall for the programming and being a victim to poor attitude as we navigate stormy turbulence.

Christopher. What struck me most profoundly, at the age of 8 years old watching the ending, was that when McCoy finely emerges, from the gateway, is the profound coldness that was on all the crew's faces when the Guardian says. "All is as it was before! Many such journeys are possible. Let me be the gateway." It's 53 years later and I'm still am not sure how to feel about that scene! Very, very Uranian! I know. It 's like waking from a dream. It makes us think about whether we can truly appreciate the joys and sorrows of people who are removed from us by history? There's a similar moment in the afterword of The Handmaid's Tale where Atwood moves forward several years into the future after the fall of the Republic of Gilead and treats us to an academic conference where they analyze - and even joke! - about the story we've just experienced so viscerally through the handmaid's voice. It's an amazing device. And a very telling one. 😊

    • @tomarmstrong7139
      @tomarmstrong7139 ปีที่แล้ว

Hello Christopher! Thanks for the reply. I have not watched the Handmaid's Tales as of yet. However, it is fascinating that such stories, especially when played out in theatre, (film) are given life through the (act) of emotional replay. For some synchronistic moment in that thought it evoked Plato's "Analogy of the Cave"! Something about waking up? @@christopherrenstromastro

Wow, fantastic storytelling! I have been nervous about the upcoming alignments. Natal Uranus in 8th. Transiting in 4th. Natal Venus in Aquarius in 1st. Part of Fortune in 1st at 18 degrees. Ugh. I wish I could go back in time and see an astrologer while I was a senior in high school so I would have gone onto another trajectory instead of wasting my time in a career that fell flat for me and being miserable for most of my life.
I have watched two different people on TH-cam talk about the JFK assassination that said a body double was used in Dallas. That is why Jackie reached for the brains on the back of the car. JFK knew that everyone wanted him dead so he went underground. I read an archivist who worked at his presidential library that said they saved all of the items including the tile from the hospital room. She thought it was weird. It would explain why the papers were never released. So did America go on a different trajectory?? Will it get back on track?

And the sad part was that I couldn't even go back to relisten because Judith's blurb was still there. Please only put advertising at the beginning or end of these talks so the message is not interrupted.
Having said that, Christopher this is such a powerful message and you have told it so beautifully. Thank you.

Ohhhh I remember Star Trek and this episode you share. It reminds me of The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. A person thinks she is not happy with her life. She works in a library meeting a woman at midnight who takes her to the alternative lives she wishes she had. I won't share the outcome.
Thanks for the journey to where no man has gone before, in that time frame.
Did you see Tim Conway and Harvey Korman in the dentist skit, Carol Burnett Show?....
Thank you Christopher yet again.... Ummmmm m Stargate series... Star Trek opened so many doors.

That was one of my favorite episodes too. ... but I wanted Kirk to go back in time again via slingshot off the sun and just bring Edith onboard the ship. ... I guess I'm just an idealistic romantic ... this episode helped me make peace with not being able to prevent a vision from manifesting of tanks rolling down our streets ... it's kind of a bitter peace to realize that just because you are granted a glimpse of an unfortunate future, it doesn't mean you'll be allowed to change it. Thank you Christopher 💜

You are SUCH a great story teller and the symbolism is so captivating that the message is always powerful and memorable! the emotions are raw, the feelings flow in the sea of 'time'! It is heartening to 'see' that a greater plan is in operation, that it is not necessary you always understand why things have been so difficult. We just have to trust that what unfolds will be what needs to! And it will be beautiful... restoration and the sacrifice can create the future that is beautiful...

This is where I have been in my life for a while. Life sometimes can only be understood backwards and I refer ro Eric Butterworth talks that are an excellent reminder of this.

Christopher, this was truly a life-changing episode for me. I love how you went in depth telling the story of the Star Trek episode. Walking us through it I felt like I was in the episode. Definitely helped me see things from a much clearer perspective. Trusting the process. Trusting that not knowing what’s going to happen or how it’s going to happen is OK. Thank you so much.
