Awesome hunt. I just bought my first metal detector a couple weeks ago. I can't wait to find lost treasures in parks and fields this summer.
Congratulations! That's awesome. Take your time. Lay different coins, foil, pull tabs, bottle caps, gold and silver out on some grass and check the numbers. The learning seems hard at times, but take it easy.

I am saving for an M8 coil. The coil that comes with it is alright but hard to get into the tight places.
Tablespoon of salt diluted into a water bottle the kind where the cap has a sip cover ...shake well.and flush both sinuses twice a day...and you can add I drop of iodine to that mixture

Have you guy's gotten to the point where you can hear the nuance sound difference between penny and rings? I use a legend and when I hear a penny or something else that comes in at that same id number I can just tell a difference them.
