I think it could be a sort of therapeutic thing too, where dream went from being stuck in the prison to controlling it. An example I could use, though it’s not the best, is different communities and ethnic groups taking derogatory words used against them and changing them to something better, like the word queer
@@lunar_ghostie91 The word nigga is also a good example, about how it was a racial slur but became (iirc) a synonym for homie (only when used by black people tho).
That's funny and all, but Dream always aimed for the prison to be his base . Dream told Techno that his base is the biggest on the server and is full of redstone . We thought he was lying . It was technically the truth
I like dreams character because hes very pragmatic in his villainy. Dont need sam, get all you can from him and kill him, what leverage, steal important things? Want to stay safe after the fallout of a massive war? Go to jail where nobody could kill you even if they wanted to. Granted the last one kinda backfired but the idea was definitely there. Dream sees a straight line to a goal and then gets it.
@@jeckjeck3119 I think that's because he has sadistic/psychopathic tendancies, which is what fuels his evil plans and thus pragmatic executions in the first place. While serial killers can efficient and hard to catch, they are ultimately causing harm to feel a certain thrill, which is also what Dream's trying to accomplish by killing and reviving Tommy over and over- it gives him that thrill of power and destruction.
Going to jail didn't backfire at all, he needed to say he had the revival book to save himself and if he wasn't imprisoned the entire server would go after him for the book; whereas in prison only sam and quackity did. And making the prison a base is the best idea, other than against withers it is invincible with its only flaw being a small gap inbetween guardians which he can patch
One of the things I noticed on the 4th day, while Dream and Sam were discussing how everyone is a bad guy, Sam says that there has to be a line you just don't cross unless you are truly evil. Dream then defines truly evil as "someone who does bad things for no reason, who does it because they like it", and well that description fits Tommy and Dream himself. Tommy, especially early on in the Dream SMP, caused trouble for so many people by lying, stealing, scamming, destroying their stuff, attacking them just because it was fun, and when he got into trouble, wouldn't admit fault and try to weasel out of it. It's only very recently where he starts admitting that he was in the wrong. Dream, while most of his actions could have a reason behind it, basically became evil during the exile arc, it was clear that he was getting a thrill from putting Tommy through mental trauma, telling Tommy during the final disc confrontation that he had fun toying with him. Plus, when Dream broke out of prison, he wasted a lot of time tormenting Tommy just because he was enjoying it, despite probably knowing the fact that the more time he wastes, the more likely someone was going to realise that he may want his armour back and move to block him off there.
A major difference between Tommy and Dream: Tommy, while yes, he did cause trouble, I don’t think he really wanted to cause suffering. We can see it the most clearly with George’s mushroom house right before exile: He didn’t intend for it to burn. He just wanted to cause some minor havoc, not actually destroy something. And while he handled it the wrong way, he also took all of the blame, even though ranboo was there too. Dream, on the other hand, put Tommy through what he did for no apparent reason. It served no real purpose other than just abuse.
Dream did say that Tommy screwed him over or something like that so maybe in his mind abusing him is justified. Also Dream won the discs fair and square and Tommy was the one to steal them.
@@angelfish1192 sure, Dream won the disks, but that doesn’t really matter much. Throughout the disk’s history, they’ve always been stolen and tossed around, by dream included. And there is no mental justification you can make that paints what dream did to Tommy as reasonable.

I think Dream revels in being the villain, but changes his narrative how he feels about it, or whether he thinks he's a villain at all, to manipulate whoever he's talking to. For example, he's adament to Tommy about not being a bad guy to mess with his head and convince him he's crazy, and claims to Sam he's 'somehow worse than him, Dream, the big bad guy!' to bolster Sam's hatred of himself.
The part when Sam talked about all the bad things Dream did, is very interesting when you hear Dream point of View. Cause He Basically counter every thing with an Logical reasoning, stating that He were never going to kill Tubbo cause in his mind Tubbo have never done anything wrong and is the only one on the server that haven't done anything wrong. He also counter the Exile That Tommy had gone Through, stating that Dream weren't the one Exiling him, Tubbo were.. Tommy lost one disc in an Fair Duel and then Gave the other one to Dream for L'manburg's independence, Which were also an Fair deal that Tommy agreed on. So Dream are really the True owner of the Discs at the moment. even if he may have stopped caring about them now.) Anyways back to the conversation... in that Discussion, Dream isn't Wrong in most points.. He did keep tommy company in Exile (even if that had an negative effect on Tommy).. He did earn the Discs fairly and didn't really steal them from Tommy.. And the whole Plan of keeping everyone's Stuff to control the server really doesn't make sense when you think about it, for exemple.. Techno, Dream would never have been able to control him, He even admit that it would have been an stupid idea to even try. Also Dream's view of the people of the server is pretty true.. everyone is an hero in their own story, and everyone have their own ''bad guy'' So.. in his mind Dream were doing the right thing, but in others he were doing the wrong thing. basically there is no *Real* Bad guy or Good Guy.. everyone is Bad and Good.
I partially agree with Dream's character in his philosophy. Everybody thinks of themselves as the good guy, because they all heve their own reason to do these terrible things. It's all just a matter of which point of view you're looking at. I think Dream is mainly seen as the bad guy, because he has the most influence and power on the SMP, and people don't like this kind of authority over them. While I wouldn't have done the things he have done, he isn't necessarily a monster or evil. We just don't know his full story and motivations yet.
The most common theory is peace. Looking back on the times we saw his PoV, including the talk with C!Punz, he wanted the server to not be divided. To do that, he put on his big charade of the Vault Encounter.

Whenever I see videos of Sam walking out of the prison with dream. I always think that Sam could have escaped there. He should have swam away in the lava to get to a guard checkpoint through the maintenance tunnel in the wall. If he made it through that hallway and got his armor from the guard chest that Tubbo, Erit, and Techno FORGOT TO LOOT! then he would be equipped to escape and tell others about Dream.
I agree with dream people think that they are right and villainize those who disagree with their beliefs. And it doesn't just apply in the server but in the real world too. You missed out on one of the most important parts of the streams. Which is where dream confirms the theory that the final battle dream vs tommy and tubbo was all planned out. He hadn’t been taking peoples belongings, he didn’t make Henry back to life, and he wasn’t gonna kill tubbo. It was all ✨theatre✨
It's honestly kind of ingenious. Dream is the perfect person to hold the book. He has no attachments to anyone or anything, so he has nothing that can be used against him. He can't be killed or the book is lost forever, along with immortality. If anyone else held the book, others would immediately try to exploit anything that person cared about to get it from them, and the book would be passed from person to person as they try to hold onto immortality, unknowingly wasting their actual life in the process. It's almost like the Elder Wand in Harry Potter, getting passed between fools who are blinded by power to realise how stupid they're being. Dream is the only one who can keep things at a stalemate, where everyone wants the book but can't have it and isn't willing to give it up and kill Dream. The only way to win is to accept death as inevitable and kill Dream, destroying the book and any chance of immortality.
So here's something interesting about Ranboo, its entirely possible that dream actually had ranboo die 2 times while he was controlling him, which would explain why ranboo only had to die once to stay dead. But about dream, it seems that dream isn't as bad as we think he is yes he wants to kill Tommy over and over but that one makes sense, cause when you think about it that's Tommy's own fault that consequences of his and wilbur's actions from the start.
@@rainyrainr3571 dream wanted control back over his server, he also wanted to keep his friends safe but Tommy through some actions showed him that his attachment make him weak and if he wants control back he has to use other people's attachments against them, Tommy and dream went back and forth until dream turned into who he is now. Dream is obsessed with Tommy because Tommy is why this version of dream exists, in a way Tommy made dream who he is now so yeah also due to this dream will never let Tommy die for good. Also what I meant by the attachments make dream weak is the moment where Tommy threatens to burn the leather of dreams horse spirit, that's when dream started to become who he is now
@@thenobody7509 so that justifies someone murdering someone else and bringing them back to life over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over? really? and besides, dream isn't incapable of making his own decisions. he's not mindlessly influenced by tommy, tommy isn't some mind controller. ultimately, regardless of whatever influences one could argue were there, it was HIS choice to do the terrible things he did. and it's HIS choice if he wants to change. not tommy's.
@@rainyrainr3571 what I'm trying to say is Tommy's actions affect dream so much it turned him into who he is now, that's why he wants to kill Tommy over and over again cause he most likely blames Tommy for everything bad that's happened to him (Maybe) It's not justified but it makes sense why dream wants to do this, but it also makes sense why dream isn't doing it at the same time mean he could have already done it by now but he isn't that's cause he might not actually want Tommy to die over and over but rather suffer as he himself has. This was Dream's plan all along. To get the most secure house in the entire SMP lol. But in all seriousness, like a king has a castle, this is Dream's castle, his fortress.
I feel like that may very well happen Cause c!Techno did seem kinda wary of c!Dream after he got out of prison and all that stuff (like not allowing him to stay, and not letting him at least have some kind of protection and stuff). And in c!Techno's will, he seems to have at least a neutral view of c!Tommy now, and vice versa. c!Techno hates governments, or just people enforcing their ideals onto others when they don't want it. So that's a conflict that may very well happen with c!Dream, IF, he doesn't play is cards right.
OH, and not to mention, if the whole c!Ranboo enderwalk thing is c!Dream really controlling him, then I don't think c!Techno and c!Tubbo (both literally have weapons of mass destruction at their very disposal) will be pleased about that fact. Same goes for c!Niki, c!Phil and maybe c!Eret, cause he did help c!Tubbo recover Michael from c!Sam.
@KianKSG.... Do u or anyone else think Ranboo was born coz Dream used his Revive Book for the first time on an Enderman? Coz, remember wen Dream used it on Techno, he first had to punch/draw blood from Techno before using it? So, my theory is, maybe Dream used his own blood for the activation and then killed an Enderman for the actual reviving, hence the Green eye and blood plus half white and half black skin :-).... just a theory ive been holding onto... i may have mentioned it somewhere in someones comment section last year but yeah, i still think its the strongest argument for Ranboos existence and connection to Dream and y he can hear Dream as a voice in his head and lastly, y he has such a strong attachment to Dream, allowing Dream to somewhat control Ranboo at times even from inside the prison, making Ranboo risk his life setting off TNT while Tommy was visiting Dream amongst other things.... Just saying, maybe its worth looking into bro :-)
Finally, the green mutated homeless teletubby (as described by techno himself) is out of the cell, but the prison is kinda like a home for him now. Well that's karma, Dream has a big evil looking dark palace far from techno's Home.

Not to mention Sam literally kidnapped a child just for an edge
and he cut of Ponk's arm
And they're both green.…a very important fact 🤌
Sam be like: "Just because I'm the bad guy, I'm not the bad guy."
Dream having the prison as his base
Me realizing..
HE FINALLY HAVE A HOUSE!
How would he escape throught the lava sir as dream has ender pearls and probaly even tnt dream could also just 2 shot sam with the netherite axe
I love how he finally has a base
Good, he finally owns a big house with elaborate redstone.
Technoblade: Wait, how did Sam get his prison cell decorated?
Sam: It was my evil spirit.
(You guys better know the reference)
I dont actually
I agree with dream people think that they are right and villainize those who disagree with their beliefs. And it doesn't just apply in the server but in the real world too.
Many people when talking about their different beliefs or ideologies decide to demonize the other side in order to sound or look like the righteous one
Sam is just Thanos: "for the greater good" lol
I mean he also told C!Sam that the Vault Encounter was just for show.
Kian before: we don’t know what happens to the people/mobs dying would happen because we didn’t know what happened after Slimecycles death and Foolish and *Sam didn’t die.*
Dream: Is a death you want, is a death you’ll get.
There was one preview clip dream showed us once about the security issue. He talked about it with Sam. I think it was a security issue for him because he didn’t want to be attacked.
i havent watched any dsmp lore for a while and got confused why how when sam got uno reversed so i went and caught up in one sitting bcuz pro
(i have been sitting here for about 10 or 11 hours help)
Damn, your dedicated
Yeah same . I was cut off from the internet the day Techno streamed Avenging Ranboo so when I joined Sam's stream halfway through I was like " HEH ?????"
Hmmm, So... you're telling me dream isn't homeless anymore? That was the best part of the plot!
A twist we didn't see coming.
Imagine breaking out of prison just to come back and live there
You missed out on one of the most important parts of the streams.
Im glad Dream's no longer *homeless*
I completely agree with Dreams philosophy, and that’s a large part of why I support his characters choices.
He did it. Dream has a house now.
Its not a house its a secret base or it is a house
And it is the best, most ominous-looking, most secure house on the DreamSMP. I hope Dream goes to brag to Technoblade. That would be funny.
I love how I can just always follow this lore from the one and only Kyan
The good ol switcheroo
Can we just take moment to mention that when Sam died a lot of the chat was just L' and lmao's as well as green teletubby got a house 😂😭
Its nice to see Kian getting 10K views in an Hour
So here's something interesting about Ranboo, its entirely possible that dream actually had ranboo die 2 times while he was controlling him, which would explain why ranboo only had to die once to stay dead.
But about dream, it seems that dream isn't as bad as we think he is yes he wants to kill Tommy over and over but that one makes sense, cause when you think about it that's Tommy's own fault that consequences of his and wilbur's actions from the start.
genuine question, how is it tommy's fault that someone chose to try to kill him repeatedly? yeah he did some bad things but nothing deserving of that.
@@rainyrainr3571 what I'm trying to say is Tommy's actions affect dream so much it turned him into who he is now, that's why he wants to kill Tommy over and over again cause he most likely blames Tommy for everything bad that's happened to him (Maybe)
It's not justified but it makes sense why dream wants to do this, but it also makes sense why dream isn't doing it at the same time mean he could have already done it by now but he isn't that's cause he might not actually want Tommy to die over and over but rather suffer as he himself has.
Idk
Ah.. A fight between a Dream apologist and a Tommy apologist, should've bring popcorn.
Five days at Pandora's
More like Five Nights At Pandora's Vault xd
Cutting of Ponk's arm? When did this happen?
Ponk stealed the keys to the prison so Sam kidnapped Ponk but Ponk still didn't give Sam the warden passes so he kinda just took Ponks his arm
4:56 "metaphorically on an island"? Wasn't Skeppy on an island during the Eggpire arc at some point? No one knew what that scene meant, but maybe now it has a bit more context?
I think Sam is slowly going to become like dream am the fact dream said I'm doing this for a good reason so i think there's a chance dream XD is controlling dream
True
At least he has a house now
Finally.
*D R E A M W I T H H O M E*
Epic plot twist.
incredible video man!
At least dream has a home now
Some reason, best players likes to kill with a pickaxe, I guess.
GOOD ENDING?: Dream is not Homeless anymore.
Dream uses stuff as black mail
Sam uses child as black mail
Dream exiles tommy
Sam locks up tommy
Dream threatens to kill tubbo for disc
Sam threatens (and does) to kill ranboo for dream
Seems pretty similar
Cool
Good and evil is not a concept wich can work in reality only in story's
So when dream is in prison he wants to be let out
And when dream is out of prison he wants to turn it into his base😂
Ofc the prison is like the best base in the dream smp it is extremely hard to break in
imagine lifesteal and dream smps gonna unite together... that would be insane (idk where this idea coming from)
Clown and zam on dsmp would be so funny
@@UltraDucc And the fact that Tommy joined Lifesteal makes it funnier!
Watch ClownPierce's video "I Became Minecraft's Greatest Hunter..."

BREAKING NEW GREEN TELETUBBIE GETS A HOME
Yooo great video Kian!!!
4:31 one thing some people have noticed is that Sam never to called tubbo a “bad guy’
fun fact this Started with disks
This was Dream's plan all along. To get the most secure house in the entire SMP lol. But in all seriousness, like a king has a castle, this is Dream's castle, his fortress.
Video: about Dream
Fundraiser: about Technoblade
Me: Huh...so they are friends!
Dream said that he has a big house...
Lul
Alt title :- a homeless green man that was lock up in a prison after escaping still wanna have prison as his house now
I love how dream not being homeless is huge part of the lore lol
4:56 he was probably in isolation, or on the exile area.
This is like SparkNotes for DreamSMP
Techno was right, this is his new house
Sadist got a lot to catch up
A green blob teletubbie have a house now good for him
Mad respect for this dude for putting the minecrafters vs Cancer in the description
Good afternoon
good afternoon
@@KianKSG Afternoon? What's Afternoon? Can I spend it?
Yesssss dream finally is not a homeless anymore 🤣🤣🤣
YOOOO DREAM GOT AN HOUSE AN REDSTONE HOUSE LOL
This,is great i have prediction dreams gonna
lock tommy and techno is gonna save tommy
I mean locking someone up is kinda goverment and techno so that’s possible
I feel like that may very well happen
Cause c!Techno did seem kinda wary of c!Dream after he got out of prison and all that stuff (like not allowing him to stay, and not letting him at least have some kind of protection and stuff).
The next true arc is just blowing up Dream with a nuke 1000 withers tnt a couple axes whilst discs play in the background
I am new to this dream smp where can I watch it from start to current Day
Ngl, i like Dream more considering he litterally gave Sam cake rather than RAW potatoes lmao
finally that mutated teletuby got a home now
Don't forget sapnap lore
Honestly I see no one as a good guy on the dream smp because they all have done something bad
Its ironic
Dream wanted out of the prison, and now he wants back in
FINALLY HE HAS A HOME!!
Finally after many years he finally got a house
He can regen hes food by just drowning on the water
@brookin ohh...
@brookin did dream and techno brake some obsidian during techno being in the prison
so cooooolll
So glad u also joined the fundraiser
Man if Slime is still around, he better start gooping Away from Dream
Yep
Home sweet home I guess
sam did evryting to get revival book in year ann acomplisted notging and dream only in few day get acese to evryting in prison
It seems like being early is being late
Nice dream got a home
Cheeze burger
A lot of people don’t like Dream, but like. I for one love him lmao.
Dream just needed to but it on crative and get out the prizen
Finally, the green mutated homeless teletubby (as described by techno himself) is out of the cell, but the prison is kinda like a home for him now. Well that's karma, Dream has a big evil looking dark palace far from techno's Home.
When did Sam cut of ponks arm!?
