I'm typing this for my 100 year old Gramma. I went and told her that I was going to make whip cream and I told her the directions. She said that this is not whip cream it is a meringue and she has been using it on her homemade pies for the last 83 years. So there you have it!

I made it this morning and the flavour is lovely, it's so smooth. Just that the texture is not like this one you made.. so it's not thick! I had to add powder sugar which helped a bit but I do not like the feeling of the powdered sugar in my mouth, I just want that smooth feeling So I am going to throw it away

it will not melt, because we beating egg whites after double boiled for 3 minutes. We can also make cream of egg white like this without double boiling. Just like preparing cake batter. That wiill melt or separate the foam and water after some time

use it inside the cake in baking but not in decoration. l tried it, u will be surprised that the so-called cream have disappeard between the layers!
