      Nba on nbc from the 90s was fire cause when u heard it u knew it was playoff time. Nbc in the 80s and 90s had the NBA and nfl TV contracts and some of best shows on there network too but after 98 they lost the nfl tv contract back to cbs and eventually would lose the nba tv contract too in the 2000s and that's when nbc started to become 2nd or 3rd best TV network.

    People always talking about players today are more athletic, that's nonsense look at how athletic Clyde Drexler was in this video.

      Overall players today are definitely more athletic. Clyde was a top 10 player in the game, nobody is saying he wasn't good. But nowadays the 8th best player on the team is athletic. Steve Kerr said he wouldn't be able to play in today's NBA.

    Jerome Kersey was an absolute beast on both ends of the court. R.I.P. And I am guessing Mark Eaton could no longer jump at this point in his career? Because I am watching Duckworth score over him again and again.

      @chrisuncleahmad If I remember correctly, that triple overtime game is the one where MJ gets called for a foul at the end, completely loses his cool, and then gets ejected, either for his 6th foul or his 2nd technical.
      I remember him talking about it on one of the specials where he says he went to the back and was irate, smashing the blackboard, cursing, etc. He said that's the 1st time he just lost it like that in a game.

    • @dereklarner6298

      91 was the real question; Malone maintained that if the Jazz hadn’t done overseas to Japan for preseason games, followed immediately by a long road trip to start the season, all of which disrupted their rhythm, that they would have won the title that year

    • @ryankenealy4837
      @ryankenealy4837 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think that’s a great question. I think the 97’ and 98’ Jazz teams were better than this 92’ team. Unfortunately, I think those 97’ and 98’ Bulls teams were better than that 92’ Bulls team. If I had to guess I’d say Bulls in 6.

      Honestly top to bottom I believe Portland was the better, I don’t think Utah’s reserves were good enough to play at that level yet. In terms of Portland, yes they had been known for self destruction, however, usually that would take place vs teams with as much or more experience than them, ex: Detroit, LA, Boston (92 regular season).
