I know different cultures do things differently and if you don't know any different you can't, necessarily, know any better but there are ways to lovingly discipline Children without having to inflict violence upon them. This makes me sad. Those Children are going to grow thinking that's ok because it's their societal norm and then do it to their own kids.

@@TukikoTroy mine weren't beaten, first it's a crime in my part of the world and second I raised my kids to obey me and to respect people so they never actually would have needed beating. It's when you DON'T bother to raise your kids that they would need some beating now and then...
