I must admit, I struggle to see the value in spending four thousand gold pieces to save the space of two small coin pouches, but I am grateful that others are willing to pay such a high price for the materials. This is a much better alternative to being cut down by murderous knaves when engaged in single combat with a cave troll.
haha yes! nothing like cobbling together a bunch of mid mats and having a seemingly infinite pool of greater fools to pay you 4,000g for the handy work! >:)
I like to think the bags save the space if 200 coins… but also their worth or 4000 coins! So in reality it the bags will be 4200 coins in two spaces! Kind of the same reason gold keys are 12,500

W guide as always (especially that skeleton champion bit) I just want to note ive gotten 20k gold from killing the giant worm boss and getting rusty old keys(worth 5k ea) in ruins which has a minimum of one worm but can have two and not to mention the two other golem mini bosses for that easy cobalt and copper.
@@YourBoyBlinn quick update, took me alot refilables but i can beat it now. and i somehow gotten a golden key from it, sold it for 11k yesterday and doesn't have enough storage to take the coines haha
A similar strategy I’ve used to make thousands of gold quickly is farming Wolf Pelts on ruins. Most people go down to crypts at the start, so there’s hardly anyone on ruins. Those who ARE, usually fight the bosses. The rocky module at the bottom has like 6 or 7 wolves and the wood fort on the middle right has another 5 or 6 wolves. Pelts were about 900g each last I checked.
Not sure if mentioned or some comments already. We’ve been farming golems in ruins. Between the cobalt, ruby silver it’s not bad. Big thing is weirdly enough a lot of abdomens drop from golems. We are both pretty wealthy from it. I will say a lot of duo pvp but in 24 lobby’s it’s usually a 5 second fight.
@ it was news to us too haha. I got first one than we started farming it and they actually have a decent drop rate .. it seems not sure what it is though
This is a great way to play the game for anyone that is annoyed with the bossfarm hyperfocus(like myself) not just for farming... I do this when I want pvp in HR, i circle the outside and just rush through until I hear someone and it mostly ends up being a good fair fight. If i dont find anybody in 5min then ill go troll/clops, so if I fight trollroom I avoid the peak times for landmines and 3rd parties, which is the purpose of this.
@YourBoyBlinn Honestly man, your tips and tricks vids are pure gold. I know it takes you ages to put them together, but rest assured, they have provided us with so much value. @@YourBoyBlinn i discovered it a few days ago by checking the market for random stuff i had collected and have farmed enough gold to have at least an extra space with each character i have(one for each of my D&D characters aka, one for each class except for cleric, which is my favourite BG2 character) But thanks to you, i now know bat wings, spider silk and gold pouches also sell really well :q i'll likely start rotating between the two maps and hope to never meet you cause you'd turn me into minced meat xD

Just used this strat over the last day and a half. Works very well. Only have fought a few players. Already sold a pouch and have also been mining a ton of cobalt because the cobalt gear is so expensive. Definitely use this strategy!
I still dont get it why people would buy the new bag , its just so bad , you can get the same value to storage 200g with 4 gold purses for 20 g.... yes you save half of the space but its so little gold you should not care at all.
I know & agree, but who cares!? if people are going to spend big $$, you bet I'm going to farm that pouch -- it's given me tremendous wealth this season!
I have seen quite a bit of sentiment for "locking" countering players out of boss room once the boss is started. I sincerely disagree with that sentiment because of this video and other strategies like it. I believe that dealing with countering players reliably involves situational awareness, map/module knowledge, and PvP skill. These are all valuable forms of skill expression that reward more experienced players by allowing them to farm boss more effectively. It is still possible to farm without killing boss if the goal is only to farm up a some gold for decent kits. If you have a burning desire to farm up a bunch of named unique items, then it is time to git gud and I think that is ok. I also think that allowing people to fight the bosses in peace would result in the player-base pestering Iron Mace to make the bosses more fun to fight (I think Banshee might be the only boss at current with mechanics good enough to actually make the fight fun by itself). This would add even more time to Iron Mace's development process which is already painfully slow.
another interesting take Lichy, have to say that I agree! let the boss rooms be the ultimate dungeon-based 'arena' for high-end skill expression (including all the situational, noncombat-related awareness & positioning you mentioned). and also agree that any kind of improvement to mob AI (including boss mechanics) seems to be out of IM's grasp, as clearly they are crippled by their tech debt and appear incapable of making any noticeable improvement/iteration to the PvE combat (for the entire time I've been playing, at least). *sad face*
The other night I tried bossin in duos and it's so easy to access the 2nd and third layers now that even at prime bossing hours 2-7 a.m my time, the boss rooms were 3rd and 4th partied every single game. Even if you played very well in the pvp encounters it doesn't matter because you get overwhelmed by the sheer volume of opponents which encourages an afk outside and be the last person in playstyle. Encouraging ratty gameplay is the opposite of skill imo because most people can do that. If you don't know the bosses, it's currently close to impossible to even try to learn them. Most of the time the people that leave with the boss loot don't even know the boss and just happened to be the 4th party. You shouldn't get to boss for free all the time but the way bossing in crypts/ inferno is right now I wouldn't say is good by any means. I honestly liked it way more when it took 30 minutes to go down because it was a barrier for impatient people and 90% of the people you would encounter today on those layers wouldn't even consider going there because they are too lazy.
@@jacksonlittle5993 I still disagree with your take mostly. I agree that there should be some tutorial zone or something where you can try to learn the bosses by fighting the normals version for zero reward. It does suck that boss is impossible to learn right now. On to the reasons why I disagree with the rest. Patients, while it is a virtue in real life, is not something that requires effort or repetitions to learn. Impatient players do not deserve the boss loot less than patient players. Forcing everyone to wait 30 mins does not weed-out the less skilled. If you are getting killed after boss too much, then maybe scour the modules around and clear other teams before boss. It is a concept like what you learned as a new player, you have to clear the mobs before you can loot a room. I see long-time DaD creators like Apollo and his team doing boss in many of their videos, so I know it can be done reliably. If you never get to doing the boss because time runs low, then you can just sell the gear of the teams you cleared to build up enough money and buy that Kuma's Fang. Happy hunting!
