as a Muslim lives in Japan I would recommend to avoid this brand(Pasco) as it fall under doubtful meaning not sure if it's halal or haram but the manufacture said it MAY cross contamination with pig. DO NOT use Texas toast - which has a completely different texture and flavor. The key to Japanese egg sandos is the fluffy/creamy textures inside and out, not the Kewpie mayo.
