Sounds great ! How about a little notch in the flywheel and a knot in the rope, like the older lawn mower type engines used?

the engine explosion time is early, delay it a few degrees

Its actually late. It fires a degree ish after tdc. When i turn it slow and it fires it jumps i the same direction and does not kick back.
