Will was unhinged man. He wasn't defending his wife, he was defending the last bit of dignity he had left. He's been publicly humiliated for years because of that woman. That joke wasn't even that bad. We had celebrity roasts on TV for years up until recently. Roasts are usually brutal, that joke was mad light. I don't think people realize how soft and sensitive we've all become in recent years.

It is that bad when Chris in particular has gone after Will and Jada more than once. Saying someone is "soft" and "sensitive" is saying that you can say whatever you want whenever you want about someone else directly to their face and not have to deal with the possible consequences. Chris' mouth wrote a couple checks his face couldn't cash, plain and simple...

Nobody in that theater was in danger or a danger to anyone else. There was nothing to protect. Just an unhinged and neurotic meltdown.

Will got his grace. He was allowed to stay at the Oscars and he wasn't arrested. He was allowed to stay there, receive his Oscar award, and attend a party afterwards. That is more grace than most people would get. Red Table should not be on the table for Will. He needs to seek therapy. Jada is no therapist. That is not therapy. That is a toxic environment In my opinion. If this is all to amp the show and her career... Shame on them.

100% correct! Will smith was laughing… Jada got to lookin upset and within seconds Will was walking to the stage - completely not caring about his career, character OR any other consequences. Jada definitely got some control over Wills mind! So with that plus all the shit Jada has embarrassed him with this was going to happen sooner or later. But unfortunately it shouldn’t of happened there at that time. Will snapped which we knew was going to happen eventually… but damn not like that.
