Little bit of info on bahia grass for those that aren't familiar with it. Shout out to Ray Ray's lawn/landscape for the video idea. Then we show a few stripes in my dry over grown backyard with the Bobcat zs4000.
I just bought a newly built house and I was paying a guy to cut my lawn and the grass was not looking so good is just finish cutting my grass and it looks amazing .Thank you for the info..
Oh brother this grass all over Fl I’m dealing with Clean Cutz lawn service Tampa Fl . Love your vids man I’m new to the business on my own but watching your vids really help👍🏾
We know all about Bahia grass! It's the devil 👹I find it's better to mow it high around 3.5" -4". Mowing it low seems to make it grow even faster. Good stuff bud👍
Deck size has a lot to do with it too (in terms of front to back). If your deck don’t have enough depth, once you lay down the tall stalk with the front edge of the deck, the blade will miss it, and by the time it tries to stand up, you have some stalk under the deck and some out the back already. Hard to explain. More frequent cutting helps this. I run a walker 62” SD on my field and it cuts 100% bug I don’t ever go 2 weeks and try to cut 1 time a week. Cut about 3.5” for mine.
Any time I come across a yard like this here in Tennessee, it's almost a grantee I'll have to make multiple passes. Even at a height of 3.5. This is some tuff grass here.
Hi, nice video. I’m moving from South Florida to Ocala. In South Florida we use mostly St Augustine and it requires regular watering through a sprinkler system. My builder is telling me to use Bahia and I don’t need a sprinkler system. How much water does Bahia require? Thanks!

Thnx and that is exactly right! It will shoot up quick! We usually mow in the 3-3.5" range when we can.

Bahia doesn't require much watering at all. Really just in the dry season 1 or 2 times per week
I have a 48" Encore Pro what is good blade overall or are all blades just the same?
Nice does it have a stripe kit on it?
No it doesn't
