Just watched this on Saturday. We had a group of 8 and everyone loved it. Esmeralda had an amazing voice. The Hunchback was played to perfection. Amazing cast, great set design.
SUCH an amazing production and such moving, emotional songs! The actors are all so talented and Justin Luciano KILLED it!! He put so much work and details into Quasimodo's character! Highly recommend!!
It was AMAZING! I’ve seen the Hunchback of Notre Dame 5 different times. The original at La Jolla Playhouse, then on to PaperMill Playhouse, in the round at Music Circus and then followed that cast to La Miranda. This is my favorite version. It wins out over John McGinty and Jim Hogan in the round by sheer spectacle. (The in the round, face to face with John McGinty signing and Jim Hogan singing was powerful! It didn’t translate as well to proscenium.) The sets, the bells, the costumes, the casting! All fantastic! It was 100 degrees when we saw it and we would see it again, just to see it again!
This performance is really spectacular. I love the hunchback of Notre Dame with the Disney songs there’s so iconic and I so love Hellfire by far the best Disney villain song ever.

Just returned from our annual Tuacahn season trip. Of the three we saw, Hunchback was the best! Randal Keith’s “Hellfire” is on par with Patrick Page (if not better…..)
Could you please elaborate a little, how this version differs from The original 2016(?) Papermill's / LaJolla Playhouse production, that later went on to Berlin and then to Vienna, until recently? Are these the same songs& lyrics than that , or based on the movie, more? Did you only change the stage backgrounds/ costumes and generally have higher production values in terms of effects etc..? I really liked the minimal stage props in the former version..But this looks fantastic also, speaking of the fire effects..etc.. , Just was wondering about the differences and commonalities?! 🙂Thanks!
It's not much different from the 2016 version! Pretty much the same except for as you said, a bigger production and nicer costumes/effects! Definitely based on the book rather than the disney movie. Still the sad ending/inspirational meaning behind! I saw it this last week twice and it was AMAZING. I actually prefer this version and the actor for Quasimodo is my favorite so far! ☺️💕
I see every Tuacahn performance and each is spectacular and professionally done. What a gift to have it here in St. George Utah
