Dude love the music choices! Especially the made in abyss sound track you occasionally played throughout the video. The final last 5 minutes were angelic, really reminiscent of how in season 2 there is the mysterious nature of the finale and the deaths of many beloved characters that were built up that season as well. Could totally not be intentional but man some top fucking tier scores! Great watch!
if you don't care for the look of the ship it could be worth it to build an outer area with shields so your inner area can vent heat without turning the shields off and also adds a lot of space for more engines. build the cube, resistance is futile :P

Sorry for backseating, but I noticed that in your killbox you have your pawns in the light and enemies in the darkness. One of the factors for shooting accuracy is the visibility of the target. If you move lamps from one side to the other, that would make your pawns a bit safer and make them shoot more accurately.
@@veequeue I might've accidentally spread misinformation on the internet, my bad. The visibility of the target WAS in the formula for shooting accuracy, but it was removed in the final version of the game. There are mods that add it back. Sorry

In my experience, if you want to have a good time and not play dozens of hours before even starting to build the ship, you kind of need a mod like project rimfactory or do some serious speedrunning strats. Rimfactory lets you mine the base resources and automatically craft them via machine into advanced components and whatnot, so this is really the only practical solution when you need 500+ advanced components to build a big ship. Also notably SRTS works with save our ship and save our ship adds the moon which is a map with gigantic volumes of raw resources like steel, plasteel, and gold. The yellow shuttle you get in SRTS or the SOS2 cargo shuttle can make trips to and from the moon if you want for the correct time of day to minimize distance to the moon. You can also send a small SRTS ship to the moon and expand it on site
I love the idea of this mod, but just like everything RimWorld, I'm so bad at it. Thanks for this video so I can experience the content anyway. I love you.

The nutrifungus is a bit counter intuitive. It has a really slow grow rate in the fungal gravel. BUT you can grow it outside in a green house and benefit from the soil fertility bonus.

Did he not realize the ship to the stars quest he got early just gives you a starter ship you can use to go to space? You don’t even need to defend it for 15 days, you can just go.
I couldn't find the poll after TH-cam crashed but. Zombies but cheat in 10 people and 75 zombies, 2 ranged units and 8 Melee. You may only add food for 10days. You must start in the middle of the map and secure 4 enemy strongholds. You cannot have more then 15 people per stronghold. No military grade weapons like mini guns. No mech building. Andi may one shot this no resets. Please even though it's not patreon
Just curious how buggy this run was with SOS2 with it not quite being fully ready for 1.4 yet. Been waiting for them to release the 1.4 version to steam before I do a playthrough on it, but if the experimental version is good enough I may reconsider.
