If I was a manager of a fighter, and I saw that my fighter was not up to standard with the opposition, I would go out of my way to ensure that my fighter has the advantage. I would pay out of my pocket to facilitate this, while also saying “you owe me.” for it. Keeps my fighter improving, keeps my fighter quiet, keeps making me more money in the long run. That’s why a lot of these fighters “get screwed” by their managers these days. It’s not far fetched to believe that whoever manages his mma team probably slips him specific drugs from his plug, and the manager is paying out of pocket and using that as leverage to keep the fighters silent on it.

There is a solid lawsuit when a company violates its own policies and rules. The UFC wanting to make an exception for Conor is an evident attempt and USADA was simply doing what they should do. If you ask me, I think USADA end up helping more than the UFC knows. Because if they did made an exception for Conor. Then all the fighters could have file suits with the company. There is also grounds for an Employer Retaliation suit by USADA in wrongful termination. The UFC is not too smart sometimes. Dana had stated multiple times that he does not like hear "No". The UFC has a lot of power but this is a good inside to how this company operates behind the scenes.

In the end i believe, i already enjoy fights based on fight iq and not physical advantage. There are still weight classes so for me that makes the biggest difference in a fight, wether someone is on roids (of course if he hit you he might hit you harder but if the other fighter is just smarter (david goliath type of) the fight will be won by the smartest and a biiiit of luck ofc one can get hit unlucky but at ufc level you prep long time for a fight against a specific person
