Someone You Loved: As we watch Angelina Jordan perform her last song on AGT on Feb 17, 2020, "Someone You Loved", you see the audience is completely captivated by AJ, and AJ alone in this performance. This is evident as she hits the high notes and the audience brakes out in applause, as did Simon, and she got a standing ovation. I was at first disappointed that others were on the stage with her but soon it was apparent they did not matter, as usual she was in complete control of the venue with her ethereal ability to totally hypnotize the audience.
Amy winehouse, yes but thats only the tip of the iceberg. I've seen ppl recognising 20 different artists in her Bohemian Rhapsody performance. So what you see really really depends on what you're looking for and what you're used to.
I have a "Love/Hate" relationship with these AGT performances. I LOVE all of Angelina's performances, but I HATE that she didn't win. I understand that quite often the most deserving person doesn't win and she is probably better off for her career path that she didn't. But the fact she didn't even make the top 5 is a freakin' crime!
I agree. I think she's obviously wanted to win when she agreed to participate, but wouldn't go along with signing over her freedom with all the contracts. Good for her.
omg I remember thinking that each of the three contestants deserved their own stage, but now that a few years have passed, I understand the collaboration. This wasn't actually the final round, it was just an extra performance within the competition. I love Angelina, but I think this is her weakest performance on the show. to me, the arrangement wasn't the best. I felt like if the performance was her by herself, she would have reimagined the song more but couldn't since it was a collaboration stage.although I do admit that this is a very nit picky critique
