Nice roller. I built one years ago using 1/2" gas pipeline 2' dia. x 5' long, boat axles welded with bearings the whole works to make it nice. 3 years later forgot to drain water and it froze blowing out the ends and twisting the frame. Cut it all apart with a 2" solid axel thru center and now filled with dry stone dust it's about 2500# and levels just about anything. Could probably use to pave roads.ha ha

Yours looks great. But a cheaper way build it is go to a scrap yard and get the biggest water heater you can find.

How is your 2015 Arctic cat XR making out? I bought the 2016 700 alterra couple of months ago then broke my leg so haven't had much of a chance to enjoy it. Another of your videos said your friend bought one too.

Hi there, Sorry for the late reply. So far I really like it! I need to buy one of those aftermarket skidplates that wrap around the fenders. The plastic catches on stuff quite easily. I really like the eps on it aswell. Hopefully I will be posting footage for next years rides. Thanks for watching, hopefully your back on yours by now!

Hi Samuel, I am putting together the supplies to build this. After using it for two years would you change anything?

Hi Josh, Hope your build goes well! Yeah, make sure the cap you get is metal and not plastic. The plastic threads strip when you winch it down to prevent leaks. So make sure when you are welding in a set of threads, you have a cal that works well with it. Other than that, I dont think there are any other changes I'd make! (Infact I can still fix that, just have to weld a custom cap)

Looks great! How many hours would you say it took you to build?

Thanks! Just did it on a Saturday. Took longer cause of the low duty cycle on the only welder I had at the time.
