Little known historical fact, a Cathar dragging his murdering wife around the country under house arrest is where the term "The ol' Ball and Chain" started.
The 'regnal' number is for a specific title. So any existing titles retain their numbers but a new title starts from the last incumbent of that name +1.
You could still have a royal/noble title, followed by the numeric of the house of Quill. For example Queen Quillina the 2nd of Aquitaine, 13th Scion of the House of Quill.
One thing I did that was fun in this game doing a similar thing, if you are holy enough you can be able to forcefully convert counties so in my game I became a Christian saint that had converted 40 counties in Africa. (Posting this at the start of the video
Ashkenazi Jews are the ones coming from Eastern Europe. As opposed to the Sepharadi who are the ones coming originally from Muslim Spain (literally, Sepharadi in Hebrew is "Spanish").
4:17:00 using commas like that is very Finnish thing to do, maybe whoever wrote the event text is Finnish? Doesn't feel that awkward when one has used them so, all their life, to specify something.
Historical speaking, she would have been taken to the nearest Lord for imprisonment and Judgement. As it was tge duty of tge Lord whose lands you were in to decide her fate. Thus in all likelihood, with your testimony about how she murdered a man in cold blood. She would either be hanged or have her head cut off. The only other option would be for her to be banished to a convent and which would be treated almost as if she had died. As she would no longer be a wife. So it wouldn't be up to your character to decide her fate, his only option to keep her alive would have been to lie or not hand her over in the first place. Which as the law saw it back then, would mean you would be treated as an accomplice to her crime.
Playing as a Wanderer is far more entertaining then a regular playthrough. The role playing aspect is fascinating.

This series is incredible, I hope it continues for awhile!
You don't execute, you transfer evil-doers to the Great Monastery UPSTATE.
Young Quill and his love are a perfect match ... obviously she's going to brain someone with a rock at some point.
Why would a sadist want to kill someone? Once they are dead you can't hurt them anymore.
The emotional pain you inflict on everyone who cares about them I guess?
The little book icon below the barber shop one with character memories should show when they got married etc.
Quill becomes the main reason for the Albigensian Crusade when The Pope finds out he's been preaching Cathar Heresy in the heart of Rome.

This might be one of my favorite CK3 runs so far… ❤

I had to laugh at your son eating pizza. It is accurate for Cathars. They didn't believe in eating cheese or meat.

I wonder if all the people you are converting can be recruited to your camp

Do Cathars believe in conjugal visits?
My news feed will occasionally give me Readers Digest stories.

I don’t know why you guys elected Trudeau either.
is it just me or is the music in CK3 much more depressing than in CK2? Or maybe that's just outside the pagan areas.

A nation electing a terrible person? It's a good thing that didn't happen then. 😂 Cope and seethe.
Yeah, but the ironic judgement about that, when 60% of his chat votes to cause chaos, perfectly mirrors the same election being mocked.
