    spent 4yrs in the Curry driving trains, living out there was one of the greatest experiences in life….still miss it….
    ps. experienced my hottest day out there…officially 46.9c….but every temperature gauge was in the low 50s….

      Had the same experience in Tennant Creek 30 + years ago.
      54 C & not recognised officially.

    What life is about in the out back .not enough city people are interested.after all that is were most of the food we eat come from ? country out side the city limits.
