Have you ever considered going to Walt Disney World? Planning a day at Disney can be quite a challenge, especially if you want to experience all of the magic without the large price tag. Come along for the ride as we explore a non-park Disney day!
Now let’s get to the main attraction: the Walt Disney World Resort.
We began our journey staying at the All-Star Movies Resort. After a quick dip in the pool, we decided to get ready for our evening. Our first mode of complimentary transportation was a Disney shuttle bus talking us all the way to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Instead of entering the park, we went to the Disney Skyliner. The Skyliner is a “free” ride that also is transportation between some Disney Resorts and both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s EPCOT. Our destination was Disney’s Riviera Resort!
Once at the Riviera resort, we enjoyed snacking on s’mores by the sunset. This is one of our favorite resorts so we use any excuse to visit. Complimentary s’mores and a Skyliner ride was a great excuse to venture over to Disney’s Riviera Resort.
After leaving the Riviera resort, we were feeling super hungry! So hopped back on the Skyliner to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to board another bus. This time our destination was Disney’s Contemporary Resort for a surprise dinner reservation.
Ana was so surprised when we went to Chef Mickey’s!!! At the time of our visit, we had a family style meal instead of the buffet. Chef Mickeys accommodated our food allergies and the combination of beloved Disney Characters, retro vibe and fun music was magical! We had the opportunity to meet Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, Goofy and Mickey Mouse!
Overall, we highly recommend exploring the Walt Disney World Resort and take advantage of non-park days. They tend to be our favorites!!

They really are, this was Ana’s first time getting to hug the characters since covid and it meant so much to her 💕
