My husband was raised in the Bronx- he’s met Trump. It made him feel dirty and needed multiple shower, he (husband) his brain was so offended by a gross asshole. He told me about Cohan - that part scared me to death of citizen Roy. Now Trump thinks he’s as smart and as lethal as Cohan,

Is there a movie about Kamala’s Marxist/Communist influences and how she came to misappropriate African American identity when there is none in her family? Or highlighting Willie Brown’s influence on her character development as she had a public affair with a married man who opened political doors for her? This would also help people make their voting decisions.
How she treasonously colluded to hide President Biden’s dementia from the Country is also great biopic material!
      It’s such a dilemma….Communist or Fascist.

One thing that stood out to me in the film was the scene where Roy Cohn showed Trump his control room with the equipment he used to record people in compromising situations in order to blackmail him. I haven't seen the film (yet), but based on this interview it's the embodiment of the saying "hurt people hurt people" (first hurt is an adjective and second hurt is a verb). So it won't ever matter how powerful he gets, his guiding principle will be to hurt people - or in this case all of America - to make everyone feel as badly as he does. Given enough time and power, everything will turn to ashes around him.
    ***
p.s. to those mentioning Ivana's burial site. The fact that the golf club is a "cemetery" with a population of 1, it's exempt from government seizure if Trump's assets get seized. BECAUSE it limits human freedom & RESPONSIBILITY. If we do this, we cannot recognize our own ability to turn away from what is right & do REAL HARM to other human beings. I would have to drive 80 miles round trip to see this film. I can't do that, and many others are in the same position.
Hoping that this film will be streamed in the near future. Too bad it won't be available to millions of Americans before the election.

I watched the film. I thought the Roy Cohn character much more interesting. Trump is portrayed as a monster. A man of no redeeming qualities! The film is designed to be a warning!

The acting is excellent and Oscar worthy. The story, many of us already know, is sickening.Trump in the film and in reality has out-Cohn'ed Cohn's evil streak and that's saying something.

Saw the film and felt a level of anger and disgust throughout. I lived in N.J. up until 2014 so knew who trump was for decades. He was a fabulist, self-promoter and blowhard, to me. The nightmare of him being president traumatized me. He cannot ever set foot in the Oval Office again.

You refuse to see the other Good parts of him. You all are extremely Close Minded. Anyone running for president has a big ego. You all act like Harris Never says anything negative 😂😂😂 You are all extremely Judgmental ppl. He is not the monster you Love to Hate.

@ Strong ego does not turn someone into a rapist and a felon; a tax cheat and a sexual assaulter. Listen to his family members who know him best. Listen to those who have worked with him. He is reviled by them all. No one has publicly called out Harris to on a personal level. There are zero good parts to Trump. Sorry.

Knowing that Trump abandoned Cohn at the end of his life, dying alone in a hospital bed from AIDs is the greatest poetic justice. Al Pacino plays Cohn in Angels in America, recreating the abandonment brilliantly.

Watched the film two days ago and it is one of my favorite films of 2024. Jeremy Strong and Sebastian Stan nailed their roles! I feel there will be more animosity towards the film and there's a chance any awards committee would be afraid to nominate the film.

Sebastian Stan is too handsome to play this horrible character. He can play it off because he’s an excellent actor.
