      Terry Neely I know that the internet can b wrong but if u look on Wikipedia for the song it states that it was written by her and Ozzy(just looked it up) and look up Lita Ford and in her music career section it states "Kiss Me Deadly", "Back to the Cave", "Close My Eyes Forever", and "Falling in and Out of Love", a song co-written by Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe. The ballad "Close My Eyes Forever", a duet with Ozzy Osbourne, remains her most successful song, reaching No. 8 on the US Billboard Hot 100. I believe it’s saying she wrote in and out of love with Nikki... but it’s not real clear and if she wrote it with Nikki that’s cool too!

      @johncampbell756 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is nothing wrong with saying a woman is beautiful. Talking about body parts is a different story. One of the ways that calling a woman beautiful can get someone in trouble is when comparing them to men and you say he good the man are at something and then only saying how beautiful the woman is without saying how good she also is. I think you are OK here.

    The 80’s were fabulous! That’s the era I was a teenager and early 20’s in. I miss it. The music was some of the best ever. We’ve lost that kind of music. Everyone says it was the worst era for music, hair, and fashion. I disagree. The decade of decadence. Good times. Good memories of being carefree. Thanks for this one. Brought back memories.

    If you're into 80's music--especially with people hitting and holding notes--check out Steelheart's "I'll Never Let You Go".. That dude blows it out of the park.
    "She's Gone" is another cool Steelheart song.

    Lita Ford is my girl!!! Been a fan of hers since the 80's. My first concert of seeing her was when she opened up for Motley Crue in early 90. And then I recently saw her again. Just love her!!!
    This is a Lita Ford song! Ozzy's wife Sharon was Lita's manager during this time. You should check out 'Kiss Me Deadly, Shot Of Poison, Hungry, Fallen In And Out OF Love' Those are great songs!!!

    This song holds very strong memories for me. I remember watching the world premiere of the video on MTV, watching/listening to it for the first time... and I started singing along with the video. I had incredibly strong flashbacks, like I'd heard the song as an infant. I was 12 when the video premiered. BTW, I met her at an acoustic / storytelling performance last year, and she's still got it. Yowza.

    In an interview I saw with Lita Ford she said Ozzy and Sharon came over and hung out with her one night and later on that night Sharon ended up leaving. Lita and Ozzy drank all night while playing pool and somehow the idea came up to write a song together and they wrote the lyrics to that song that night. To give you some context Lira said that Ozzy and Sharon weren't on good terms at the time so the song was partially wrote from Ozzys current state of mind with his Sharon.

    I'm so happy someone did this, I've been suggesting it around quite a bit! It's somehow been a semi-guilty pleasure of mine since late 80's and it's kinda fun to hear a duet where the male vocals are (at places at least) higher than female ones! More duets? How about Ozzy & Lemmy - I Ain't No Nice Guy? It's brilliant!

    Lita and Ozzy wrote this song together after getting wasted together in the studio. It came out on Lita Ford's album "Lita" when she was managed by Ozzy's wife Sharon. Ozzy pretty much does all of his own writing (often in collaboration with bandmates).

    Many times, talking about Ozzy Osbourne and not Black Sabbath, he wrote his own lyrics. But also collaborated with others. For example, Ozzy was working on a song and needed some lines. Lemmy was with him and left his house saying "Ozzy, give me 1 hour and I'll come back with something". And after about 60 minutes there he was, Lemmy with 4 different ideas of lyrics for that track that eventually became "Mama, I'm Coming Home".
