@@SelectorsHubseems like not useful for application under development. Like starting a project from scratch or building new features.
In case companies using low code development tools like mendix or outsystem in that we cant use it because there is no concept of sharing dev url with test team and utilize the url for exploring application.

But the manual test case authoring always get completed before environment is live just going through tickets.where we will do record and playback when there is no environment???
Hi, @Mukeshotwani . Thanks for sharing. This will only help when the feature is developed, what if we wanted to write before development? because test cases are designed during their development not after the development.

Hello Mukesh ji, I had created an automatic java code generator for web by just clicking the elements in the page and then after completion a java code will be generated and ready to launch, implemented the same approach for new browser and existing browser launch. But the issue is its not having a fancy UI, its just a project where I built as a Maven project

This is ok for regression test case. But what about for new features when the env is not ready. Most of the time for feature testing all the screens are new. Is there any way to write the test case from requirement or from Acceptance criteria from jira

Hi Gayatri you can use HP ALM Jira, or Azure DevOps. You can also use TestRail or Zephyr
for writing testcases.

Hi, @mukesh we need test cases I agree with it, but we need to write it while the devs are in developing stage and we need to do it side by side and later on we need to validate those testcases and we need to use them while performing testing. The above tool help us only once after the build is ready.
Then there is no use of this tool to create manual test casess.

It is not available for Mobile App
According to me this is helpful only when the feature is ready for testing. Becoz until and unless the feature is not available on screen we won't get to know the expected results.

UI Automation Testing is painful, time consuming and needs too much of maintenance even after having a robust keyword driven framework. Some clients still feels automation means UI and not worried about the focus on functional aspects which can be easily achieved by API.
