  • Sansi sent me this light to try out, for free. My opinion is unbiased though.
This is a 10 weeks follow-up video of the Sansi LED floodlight. This has been over two plants, a Khang Starr White Thai and a Malagueta. The plants were previously under a slighter stronger powered red/blue LED floodlight. The plants have done very well, and actually fruit better under this light.

Thank you so much. From timelapses of other videos,I thought the dark period helped with growth as well. You have been very helpful as always...
    Best of regards

Amazing. Peppers must be able to adapt to low light. I just purchased a light meter and discovered mine have been doing well in a PPFD of 200 micromoles for 14 hours a day. I am gradually raising it higher. Your videos are helping me quite a bit with my indoor growing. Thank you.

Thank you, Joe. I appreciate you saying that. I've noticed that too, that many plants are low light tolerant and do well in the 200 range. Matt Garver recently shared some data he found on light and looks like there's a point of diminishing returns over 800 PPFD unless you're using CO2 supplementation. Even then, the gains are not that great.

Good morning sir. After learning a lot and rectifying my grow room issues with your help, I am very happy to come back for a reason that doesnt involve saving plants. I have been searching for khang starr white thai seeds and learned that it can only be shared which I believe at core. Since this is the first time I'm in this situation, I was hoping for some direction on how I can share, where, etc. I have seeds that I be happy to share however they aren't exotic chilies that require long seasons so. .
As always, kindest regards and thank you for your help..

Thanks for asking. I don't have any available right now. I recommend checking with Pepper Donkey. Ask them first, but they 'may' have some to give as freebies with the purchase of other seeds. Here's their facebook profile. facebook.com/PepperDonkey/ They are great folks.

Thanks for watching! Yes, I'm liking the full spectrum white lights more and more. A lot easier on the eyes, and plants love them.

Red and blue leds never should have gone mainstream.

Hi again. As usual I'm in the need of your wisdom.
I am finding mixed information about light cycles for chilli plants. I seen 12/12 ,24/0 18/6,16/8 and the more I read , the more confusing it gets. Is there any chance giving us your light cycles ? Any plants that prefer different lighting conditions etc?
Thank you for your answer in advance..
    Best of regarda

Thanks for your question. I generally do 16/8, but there's a lot of debate on what's best. I have observed in my time lapses that the plants do grow a lot during the dark cycle, so I think they really need that.
