Yeah part of playing "hard to get" is leaving the girl alone with her thoughts. Her own fantasies will make her love you more than if you were trying to woo her and be with her 24/7. I just love how different NoeFure and KanaCoco is regarding this topic of living together, yet they have the same level of wholesomeness.
It's really interesting. Noefure are cautious and cherish their time together, while Kanacoco are completely comfortable with each other's company and have this judgement/stress-free environment where they can comfortably be themselves. I always love teasing at the latter's behavior and saying they died together in a past life, because they really do feel like an old married couple at times, while Noefure is a lot more like anxious youths still finding their forward comfortably. Both are adorable though, that much is certain.
They're at the two ends of the same spectrum.

I love the new bold Flare flexing her relationship and not caring what anyone thinks, she was always a lot more reserved but since they got their rings she doesn't hold back anymore and it's so cute. I'm happy she's confident enough to talk openly now
She doesn't hold back either when it comes to her friendships. Just look up how matter-of-factedly she responded to Chinese antis spamming her stream chat just because she went on an impulse and did an impromptu collab with Coco, just because both of them decided without any coordination to do Minecraft livestreams at overlapping times, Coco wanted someone to give her directions to a distant biome in the map so that she can get something from there, and Flare decided that it's better if she personally took her there and helped her mine that thing. Once she noticed the spam, she just apologized to her fans in advance as she went about setting her stream chat to members-only. She basically flipped them the finger and told them "fuck you, I stream with my friends whenever I want" in the most politely dismissive way possible.
That the Elfriends not only took this in stride but a lot of them immediately paid for memberships (I bet the ones who didn't simply couldn't financially afford to do so at the time for one reason or another) is just icing on the cake.

I'd argue that you could have the same exchange when getting up in the morning instead. If she wakes up earlier than Noel, then she can think about Noel while watching her sleep and anticipate her waking up.
In my brain, it’s basically a level-up thing. You’d want to savor those meet-ups because you know that eventually it’ll come to an end (i.e., moving in together). If this is all real, then it’s the right decision to savor the small moments and enjoy the distance before diving in deeper.
That first line Flare dropped was enough to give me answers on the questions I have on the clip

i mean let me be on the level here, they seem more like really good friends and having lived with a really good friend for about 3 months since it was closer to my work-place at the time i can tell you that despite being really good friends we were starting to put a strain on each other just by being in close proximity all the time. If anything this reinforces that they are good friends that just don't want to live together and as someone with past experience i can say i don't blame them.
