Having a bowl of steaming hot bakso sapi whilst gazing at Lake Bratan's gorgeous vista, stuffing ourselves with strawberries & strawberry pancakes, almost bringing home a Bedugul Bunny.... all these amazing moments await you on a jaunt up to the mountainous Bedugul in Amazing Bali.

I have been watching your vids, and Bali seems to have so many delicious cuisine,; love all the countryside sights. Food is so cheap too……I have missed my travels to Southeast Asia, and waiting anxiously so we can resume traveling. Do you and Vitaly normally cook Indonesian or a variety of other cuisines?
heya Ann good to see ya! We cook a lot at home yes, V just cooks generic great BBQ - grilled veggies, chicken wings etc, we do salads, and i do a lot of generic asian cooking with whatever i can find, but simple stuff, fried rice, noodle soups, stir fries etc. haha i only started cooking at home after marriage really. Before when working, always eat out! We love eating out here though so many options n so enak n cheap.

Lovely as usual. Missed this area sooo much. Spent alot of time here before, passed Handara Gate thousands of times, nobody stopped to take pictures (before youtube or instagram existed) now they charge 60k?? The market is Candi Kuning market. Its nice in the day too, lots of flowers. Really really love this area and the surrounding little towns, Munduk, Gobleg, Pancasari, Baturiti, Gesing. Seriously, Bali has just about everything to offer, except skiing. I will never get bored there. And you made me drool with the bakso, so basic but never get tired of it.
that bakso by the lake was actually more yummy than the usual bakso we get on the streets of bali i think. Dunno if its the exotic environment or what but i actually wanted 2 bowls for myself haha! ai seh! we loved the area as well, would have kept on travelling if not for budget concerns lah, but also nice to go home to our nest. We will be back to see more of the area for sure!!! n yah the Handara Gate is such a tourist trap lol!
@@JeanVoronkova I think environment and mood does play a part on how well we enjoy the food. Bakso usually small portions. I usually add the crackers hehe.. Bali got more to offer! Can try Amed or Sideman or even the north coast, Lovina, before returning to Bedugul.
@@terubong we're thinking Amed next! V wants to try the free dive course.... i'm not super excited about sitting underwater for up to 3 min but i'll give it a go i guess. Hope can find good makan to make up for the underwater shenanigans lol! i only like being above water..... on the wave. haha! hope u had a good weekend in SG!

@@JeanVoronkova yeah raining here too in singapore…eve of hari nyepi its quite happening at kuta…but on the hari nyepi itself it will be very quiet as the whole island will kinda be in total lockdown with no lights, totally quiet & you wont see anyone on the streets as the locals believe that the gods had made their presence on the island…something for you & V to experience…

Hey Sugi! The oxtail restaurant is called Lake View Restaurant, n bingo on the hotel! Yup it’s Strawberry Hills - we thought this was really good value for money! Nice room v comfy
