Ever since I came across your channel, I’ve been inspired. I bought my Warr phalanx 13 yrs ago and wasn’t mature enough to deal with it. I’m now 71 , and after seeing your interview with Markus , I pulled it out the closet , and said it’s time.! Ohhh by the way , Jim Wright liked mine so much, Mark Warr got on his Ass to send it to me after he gigged w it for two weeks! True story Bro🤣🤣🤣🕺🏾🕺🏾👍🏿👍🏿Yessir!

You demonstrate exactly what the Warr guitar is made for / capable of: warm sound, and rich chords. Very nice work mate! Btw your bluesy crunchy sound on the melody side is amazing, many players should learn from this. How did you do it? Amp sim?

      Hi Djon,
      Thanks for your kind words.
My setup in detail, if interested, is posted on the Warr Guitars worldwide Facebook group with photos of my gear and settings.
      In simple terms however,
Bass goes into a Demeter TBP1 tube preamp with a DBX162SL comp in the effects loop.
The melody goes into a Splitter
Splitter does into and AVALON 737 tube preamp and other side of split goes into and AXE fx3.
The lead sound is AXE FX 3 but I’m using my usual outboard stuff for reverbs and delays
      Lexicon PCM80 and Eventide eclipse
The reverbs on the clean melody are PCM80
The easiest way to go from
The clean to crunch sound is switching presets on an axe fx 3 or similar with a foot switch.
The reason for the complicated setup is purely out of experimentation.

@@FinbarOhanlon you've got quite the gear! Which is reflected by the quality of your sound 👌👌 thx for the infos. I didn't know the FB group you mentioned, I've just made a request for joining it 👍

Amazing work on a unique instrument! How did you go about learning how to play it?

Thank you akshay, I learned by taking zoom lessons with some of the greats like Steve Adelson and James Wright
