I remember learning how to play Shin Akuma in '13. I may have been a bit late but I remember going to the arcade and beating other guys that came in, and then refusing to tell them how to unlock him. lololololololololol great times. Sadly, the arcade closed down due to Corona, and sold all its cabinets. I was heart broken, and didn't have enough spare cash laying around to buy a 2000$ cabinet. I hope whoever owns that cabinet takes good care of it.
Oh dude, now I'm jealous of you! Wish I could've experienced that, but it is sad to hear that the cabinet's gone. Imagine if you did have enough money for one, would be great to have! 👀
Dude this was fantastic!!! Spamming double air fireball in TAS'es like these are always fun to watch :D The air fireball spam with T. Hawk/Cammy/Balrog/Sagat were so much fun to watch lol

You do know that in Capcom fighting games AFTER the Street Fighter 2 series, Akuma is weaker. He can throw only 1 aerial fireball at a time. You would need to access Super Akuma for his full fighting potential.
YOU do know the playable akuma (unlockable via code) in his debut game has always been restricted to only one air fireball, right? not just after the sf2 series. get your fact straight, professor. this tas playthrough uses the non playable boss version via the provided hack.

First off, thank you for sharing the link to play Shin Gouki and other hacks in this zip from Nova Pasta. I really appreciate it. With that being said, after watching your videos along with playing "Shin Gouki" it appears this is really only regular Gouki with two air fireballs and nothing more. I'm not sure if it's because this is Hyper Street Fighter 2 and not SSF2T or because it was just a hack to add another air fireball to Gouki. The CPU Akuma from this game or as we know it "Shin Gouki" has many differences from regular Gouki that you can pick in the game with the code. These differences are listed on the Wiki Shoryuken. Some big differences, including many others, are 4 and 5 spins for medium and hard tatsus respectively, this "Shin" version still has 2 and 3, Gou Hadouken does 2X or more damage than regular Gouki (this one does the same amount), Ashura Warp has no recovery (this one still does), Gou Shoryuken does much more damage (this one is the same damage) and many other smaller frame data including better recovery on both regular and red fireballs. So my question is, what is this Gouki? The real Shin Gouki is only a boss character and is also playable in dreamcast version of SSF2X For Matching Service (Also Tien Gouki with super meter). Was this just a hacked Gouki with double air fireball or is HSF2 different? I'll paste this to CanalSDR and the other gentleman who did a TAS as well. Thank you.

I enjoy watching TAS of Super Turbo because the cpu are just straight up assholes. They read your inputs and punish you for even moving an inch. Taking all my fight money :(

Essas opções são do final burn se me lembro bem, tu tem que clicar com botão direito no rom e achar a opção de ips patch, se for no fb neo acho que na própria aba clicando no rom já tem algum display de ips patch, ai lá vai ter essas opções, precisa dar ok e iniciar o rom com essas caixinhas marcadas para acessar o personagem.
Incrivel consegue jogar qualquer jogo de luta extremamente bem e impressionante 😃👏👏👏

Ei Dark, você tem visto os TAS do ちょぶ平? Esse cara é um monstro combando. kk Todo os dias eu entro no canal dele pra assistir o TAS com Ryu.
Sim sou inscrito dele a anos desde quando ele começou na nicovideo, nick dele é link777, do Ryu ele tem vários, o do hsf2 não há nenh segredo, já o do sf3 new foi um trabalho muito técnico, mandar os combos que ele mandou exige bastante experiência para usar os frames.
Vou dar uma pesquisada melhor pra ver se acho esses vídeos de SF3. Man, tem um outro cara aí que também é JP. Ele tinha um vídeo com o Zangief muito louco que me fez rir pra caramba. Até hoje tô aí na procura do canal dele, mas não acho. Não sei se ele deletou o canal ou mudou o nome. Como você ta no ramo dos TAS a um bom tempo, você conhece algum canal com nome parecido com ''BANDOM'' ou ''BARDOM'' algo assim. Só me lembro que a foto do canal dele era uma mulher segurando um óculos. Uma pena eu ter perdido o canal dele. Queria tanto re-assistir os TAS. kk

Conheço sim, bandom era mais técnico ainda, graças a ele desenvolvi os esquemas de combar e me movimentar mais com Balrog, fora que os backwards dele me ajudou a desenvolver os combos da Cammy assim como os que ele fazia no superplay dele, acho que ele deletou o canal, nunca mais consegui encontrar os vídeos dele, com o Zangief ele era muito de usar o headbutt para ficar tonteando o CPU a todo momento, era bem hilário. Uma pena não ter mais o conteúdo dele para assistir, era um ótimo taser.
Pô man, não acredito que ele fez isso. Eu rachei de tanto rir com o vídeo do Zangief, quando li o comentário do carinha lá falando que ele apertou os ovos do cara até a morte. kkkkkkkkk

É porque o Shin nem deveria ser jogável neste jogo, assim como o Rain é para o UMK3 Arcade, contudo ele aparece naquele trailer do umk3 arcade certo? Então tem como hacker ou criar IPS para forçar a vinda destes personagens para o jogo. Tem um cara mesmo que no umk3 arcade esta fazendo isto, aliás Rain já esta jogável na versão 1.3 que ele ainda esta arrumando, contudo não é nada perfeito ainda, sem som, mesma coisa que esse Shin.
Como o Shin é um boss deste jogo então tem como forçar ele, ddj fez isso, forçou a vinda dele para tornar ele acessível, contudo de fato é notável esses detalhes tanto no som do jogo quanto no próprio personagem simplesmente por ter selecionado ele através do IPS, nem tudo é perfeito.

What is this MOCKERY?!!! You do not even know that a full blown 4 point combo of a Sho-Ryu-Ken special move does in this ancient SF game?! Your opponent is at 40% health and it is literally gone in that special move like combo. Physical, real life martial arts specially meant as finishing moves were not nerfed yet back then(1994-1995). But not as exaggerated as the original SF2 though. Wish you luck at really learning the full array of possibilities of this gem of an ancient SF game! ;)

Boa tarde!Mês passado eu contactei vc para saber se vc sabia como rodar hsf2 com esse hack (Shin Akuma) no PSVITA / PSP.Atravez dos emuladores CPS2 ou FBA.Depois de muito tempo consegui rodar essas roms de vcs 040202 e tb a 031222 eu acho.So que nos portateis da sony eu não tenho a opção de carregar IPS.Tambem consengui rodar a 040202 do YUMEJI, so que tb esbarrei no modo de usar a pacht. Em fim gostaria que vc (se puder claro )me ajudasse a jogar com shin akuma no meu portatil.Segui passo a passo os dois tuto (Dark noob/Yumeji)O seu ips o do yumeji patch.So que minha limitação esbarra nas mods.Ate consegui traduzir em japones p ver como fazia, so que nao acontece nada.Se puder peça ajuda novamente DDJ p ver se consegue colocar o 031222 com a patch ja inclusa no zip de hsf2 ou SSf2t.Procuro por isso a mais de 20 anos.Vcs são minha ultima esperança.meu face e o mesmo nome ai se puder contactar por la.Agradeço a atenção.

I am not sure if anybody has noticed but some characters in fights have their names swapped like when he fights balrog his name is m. Bison..so weird.
Resident Random Japanese version and American version swapped names in order to avoid copyright reasons due to M. Bison being a reference to the professional boxer Mike Tyson.
