Not only are your lessons, spot on, but your guitar is always in tune. I am amazed at the number of people that post lessons, but their guitars are so far out of tune. Thanks for what you do here man. You are an amazing player.
Really like the way you pick up all the little bits that make songs sound 'right'. My playing's improved SO much from your tutorials...I'd like to hear your covers band!!
Love the rich tone on this one. It makes a big difference really, and I'd say you've got it down just right. Smooth and just the right amount of bite, just like your favorite drink. Rock on good sir.
i´ve been playing this song for quite some years now (back in black is one of the reasons why i picked up the guitar) and still I didn´t know all the secrets of it, as it seems :D awesome playing!
Man, you are one badass guitar player. Everything you play is spot on perfect and it's great to watch and learn from you. Thanks for sharing so many amazing lessons!
Andy, consider in the "hey hey hey" section when Angus goes from A, E, B, A, that on the B chord he is merely lifting his finger off the B note and letting it go to the open A but keeping the upper structure of the B intact [F# B]. I think I hear him doing that often in many of his songs when a B chord transitions to an A and back to B again.
Hey Bart. I struggled with that part wondering if Angus is doing what you say. I just listened to it again and I think you're right. Although I think that Malcolm maybe playing B - A. It's hard to tell. Cheers
yeah it is pretty tricky timing wise.., i thought i would revisit the song and your instruction is good, the riffs are hard to get down and stretches, thanks again.!!
Great tutorials! It's weird that the name of your channel is, "Shutup and play." My g/f always says the same thing. Actually, "It's shutup and quit playing," come to think of it. I shutup, but I don't quit playing!
Excellent once again! The timing of the riff is essential to making it sound right. Technically an easy song, but the "feel" needs a fair bit of effort in my opinion.
Thanks! Every time I do an AC/DC lesson I always think the same thing, this sounds SO easy but it's SO HARD to play it right! These guys just get so locked in the groove and that's what you have to do to play it well I think. It's way more about "feeling" the groove than it is about counting or "trying" to be on the beat right? They're such a precise band, I really love playing their songs! cheers
Shutup & Play - Guitar Tutorials Oops, I see you covered the subject about "feel" in Part 2, I should have know that you would have touched on that subject! That's one of the reasons I love watching your videos so much, you get these songs and play them right. You get into the heart and soul of the song, and that's why your versions sound so great. It's great to see somebody as talented as you, actually saying that the "timing and feel" isn't easy. I think that gives people reassurance that spending more time on the rhythm is worth it, rather than jumping straight ahead to the solo. It's a great song to learn and play, and a great lesson. Thank you!
I'm a great admirer of your tutorials and I absolutely love your guitar - by far the most beautiful LP I've seen. I'm also a great AC/DC fan and because of that I'm curious why your Back in Black tutorial doesn't include solo? I know there are lots of BiB solo lessons around, but your tutorials are most accurate I've seen and I would love to watch and learn it from you :-)
love the videos mate. want to know if your ever going to do a lesson on the solo for this song. i know it but im not happy with how i play it. i think i have play some phrases incorrect and would love to see your take on it to see where im going wrong. keep up the great videos and lessons
Hi! I'm looking to buy a Les Paul and was wondering what colour yours is. I've tried googling but there are several different types of red Les Paul's so I just wondered because I adore yours. Awesome playing! You've really helped me improve (thus why I'm buying a Les Paul!)
Not only are your lessons, spot on, but your guitar is always in tune. I am amazed at the number of people that post lessons, but their guitars are so far out of tune. Thanks for what you do here man. You are an amazing player.
Love your breakdown of all the songs that I've seen so far. Inspires me to want to pick up my guitar and play.
Really like the way you pick up all the little bits that make songs sound 'right'. My playing's improved SO much from your tutorials...I'd like to hear your covers band!!
Andy Irwin Thanks Andy, yeah I don't play in a band these days, too much moving and storage you know! cheers
I love your communication style. Such an easy going style. Thanks,
Karl Leon Thanks Karl!

Hank Schräder Thanks Hank! What you're saying is true of almost all AC/DC tunes, there's way more to the guitar parts than it seems at first. cheers
