I've been attending Willingdon MB Church in Burnaby, British Columbia after 32 years in the dark as a Seventh Day Adventist. Looking forward to explore what our church offers!

My family and I are part of Multiply, and I am so honored to be part of the MB Family. Thank you Wendell Loewen for this very informative message! Grace and peace.

Faith is just pretending to know what you cannot know.

@@thomast6741: Not at all!! Faith is making a decision to embrace something(s) one does not totally understand or control, and to base your life choices on that decision and direction. This is not just a spiritual matter: deciding to move ahead each day involves faith. Pretending has nothing to do with it. If we would refuse to have faith, and would function only in those things that we totally understand, we could not finish out even one day of our existence.....

There wasn't one image of God used....if you are referring to the depiction of Jesus, then, you must know, that is NOT Jesus either.

At some point I hope people will realize that Christ was a Jew and did not convert to Christianity neither did He teach anyone about Christianity and He did not tell anyone to become a Christian

But He did say to become a Christ follower - He said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me". John 14:6 The Greek word Christianos means "follower of Christ" as in one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ. So call it what you will but there's no getting away from belief in His teachings

@sprayguy9 you are correct in the Greek and also in what Christ has said in Scripture, however you are missing a key point, Christianity is not from Christ, they just put the word Christ in Christianity to deceive many, they did the same thing with Christmas, I hope you understand what Christmas is really about and that Christ was not born on this day, we were lied to and deceived, some are able to break free and some want to remain, so where is Christianity from? it is from Constantine who made official the amalgamation of Judaism and Pagan Practices, this is why Christianity observes Sunday as the weekly Holy Day instead of Saturday which is the 7th day, if you are honest Christ did not change the day, He always kept The 4th Commandment, so who exactly is Christianity following when they do this?, they are following Constantine, likewise they observe Holidays instead of Holy Days, they change tithes to money when tithes is crops and animals, then they collect said tithes when only Levites are authorized to do so, they eat unclean things and they follow their Denomination Leaders instead of The Bible, I hope this was able to shed some light because Christianity is antichrist, it is an imposter to what Christ taught and who HE is
