I have a doll that was my grandmothers pin cushion doll from the 20s. I redressed her, and I stick my broaches all over her. I love her!! You did a beautiful job on your doll.

You would roll over in your grave if you knew what I paid for a porcelain half-doll pincushion earlier this year. Then you come along without a clue what you're going to do and create one equally, if not more beautiful than mine. The main difference is that the doll was also made by her. I have mine displayed and would never use her as a regular " pincushion" either. Now I have to check out what everyone else has been up to. I had no idea half-dolls were collectables and sit after. Yours is absolutely exquisite!😇💕

I dont know how to ask you a question any way other than this..I hope you get and will answer me. I tried to dye some material and laces with avocado skins...the color faded??? Is there a step to persevere the color??? Please let me know..I really enjoy your videos and tutorials. Thank you for sharing
Hello there Pam, I don't normally use avocado but I'm thinking vinegar would help the colour to stay. Perhaps put some vinegar in the rinse water :) Thank you for stopping by :)
