I like how they didn’t change her appearance when they gave her a 2nd chance. It just showed how even people who don’t have the ideal princess body can also get happy endings.
I feel like the OG Disney films were actually pretty deep. The step sisters (especially Anastasia) just wanted to be loved and validated by someone. They dressed up, showed off, and acted prissy because that’s what they were taught would get them a man. That’s what they were taught would get them the love and life they so desired. That doesn’t excuse the way they treated Ella but it does give a bit of background to their characters and I think this movie really shows that
yeah i agree with what you said people dont seem to realize that a person can behave a certain way cuz that's how there parents taught them so it aint fully there fault for the way they behave
I'm so glad that Anastasia worked on herself and actually became a better person in the squeals. I also like that her and Ella's relationship was restored.

Yes but sadly it’s not canon because she went back to how she was in the first movie in the third one so the second one is just a AU I guess I don’t know how Disney does this
That phrase doesn't apply for Cinderella tho- i mean like girl didn't deserve the treatment she had from her half sisters or step mother either.
