I just got some Paul moments that I enjoyed watching the most on the Tube and put them all together. Mind you, there are PLENTY more that I liked, but I didn't want to take up too much of your time. I think 8 mins. is enough. I didn't put any performing moments...or else it would really be long!

I had my fourth french lesson today, so I didn't understand like _all_ of it, but the pronunciation of the first word was enough.
I think his German is quite good, though, as far as I'v heard, but he translated that one sentence wrong. Vögel means birds not ravens. His pronunciation is great, though.
This man puts a smile on my face...sometimes that's the best thing one person can do for another.

Don't be down on yourself. I couldn't watch clips of my beloved John Paul George and Ringo on the internet. I grew up in NYC and would go to the Museum of broadcasting to see them on Ed Sullivan. I spent all my tooth fairy $ on albums had to go to antique stores to get pictures...I was 12 when John died less then 1/4 mile away. I lay in bed and heard the sirens all night didn't know it was John until morning I still cry when I think of that night...i'm crying now.
i know i probably sound like just another fangirl... but Paul seriously made up my childhood. i refuse to die until i meet and talk to him.

I was at the concert in Tampa in 2005 and saw Paul fall into the hole where the piano comes up and thought. Ok the shows over. Im glad Paul was ok. Paul acted like it never happened and played all night. Btw that was the night he spoke to the astronauts at the ISS in space. Still have the copies of the tickets.

Paul only said this because he didn't know that it would be OK for him to play his old songs 50 years later because he was to become the monumental legend that he is. I saw him live August 1st, 2009, and, believe me, the last thing that came to my mind was "this is an old song" when he started playing. He sounded fresh and youthful like always.

The photo at 3:13 is interesting, because at the age of fourteen, it would have been only months before he got together with John. He probably lost most of that weight before that, otherwise I've got a feeling John would have mentioned meeting that fat kid in some interview later on.
He fell in love with Paul instead, thank goodness 🤗
John said he thought he looked a little like Elvis when he met him. Paul had just turned 15 and had already had his major growth spurt, so he would've lost weight when that happened. You can tell this photo predates that growth spurt. (It's funny to see how much shorter George is relative to Paul at that time since they are only 8 mos apart and as adults they were the same height.) Or he may have lost weight after his mother died. He certainly looked very different in fall of 1957 in the early Quarrymen photos.
There is a picture from August 1957 of Paul at the beach with his dad and Mike, he’s EXTREMELY beautiful and thinned out quite a bit. No wonder witty beautiful John wanted Paul in his band, that talent and that face would help them go very far!
