The problems I've found in the field typically happen on the stranded profibus cable, the stripper tool doesn't work on it because it has the support rods. Have to do it by hand to not gouge into wires. Most of our official cable was cut great, they just never tightened anything in 😆
Professional installer would not bend the cores like you did while removing cut - this causing resistance change (according to instructors - two different companies)
