POSEIDON: A Tragic New Year

- The 2005-2006 New Years voyage of the Cruise Ship Poseidon that ended in disaster. I would have liked that movie more if they kept the ship upright for the first hour of the film, let us know more about the characters before the ship started sinking like they did in the 2005 miniseries.

Actually the Poseidon was an ocean liner, both according to the movie and also due to her sharp bow. I had a bit of a hard time determining whether or not she truly was one too: having the viewing galleries that close to the bow didn't help. Otherwise this was a nice watch. I prefer the original Poseidon Adventure, but the liner here was a fine ship and I'm basing my own design partially off of it. :)

She ain’t an ocean liner. She has a sharp bow, yes; but so does every single cruise ship in existence. She also had a short forecastle, leading me to believe she was a cruise ship. However, the original and second Poseidon may have been ocean liners.
I really like how the days pass by during the voyage, thinking of all the passengers having fun in their peaceful Christmas voyage across the Atlantic, all leading up to that very fateful night on New Year's Eve. I also liked the storm you put in as the Poseidon faced in the original opening. Good work.
P.S. Is there a way to make the model capable for VSNG so it doesn't pitch the bow up when sailing her?
