im so confused what any of thid stuff is i firstly started with python i didnt master it then i learned some html css and javascript now im learning c# because im actually gonna use it for building desktop apps and maybe games and im confused what all this asp.net, .net core and .net framework stuff is and how to use it. Aswell i dont get how you can build websites with c# as c# is for building apps for desktop and android and many other different things and html css and javascript is supposed to be for web development.

React and angular are javascript frameworks. Asp.net is a framework for building web applications and c# is the language. C# runs on the server and node js is used for server procesing for the js frameworks.

C# is a general purpose managed programming language useful for building apps. C++ is unmanaged low level language. If you are building applications (web, mobile, desktop) C# is the language of choice. For low level performance orientated type code C++ is the choice.

.net core is what you need to learn today. .net framework 4.x is the old version. .net core and soon to be .net 5 is the new version.
