I got war flashbacks of Kemba always carrying with no help from his teammates, watching lamelo dominate and no one else showing up. But it’s just one game with a very depleted roster. I’m really hoping everyone else is working hard to get healthy and help this man
You’re telling me Liangelo Ball isn’t on the same level or higher than what Lamelo had to play with against Magic!? I see/smell blatant politics. It’s a joke! Lamelo needs to leave. Being around that crap is going to hinder his game in my opinion…
Thank god for Lamelo and Diabate. I am simply asking this current iteration of the hornets to stop committing 20+ of the worst/sloppiest turnovers we could imagine in a 2 qtr span
It's pretty clear to me the reason Salaun was starting over Grant was because Lee had to use Grant at the 5 for 20+ minutes a game. Now that Diabate has earned more minutes from Lee, he no longer has to do this and he can start Grant at the 4. I think this is pretty clearly why it happened like this. Just look at the minutes
I think everything comes back to health and lack of centers. There is hardly any valuable off-ball movement because we have no centers to set quality off-ball (or on-ball) screens to free guys up. And it goes without saying that the lack of centers hurts the defense.
The game was a touch watch. Lamelo is trying to carry the team on his back but when he goes to the bench everything crumbles apart and he has to claw them back into the game smh
We need a healthy starting 5 to give us the best chance of winning games, without Mark Williams and Miles Bridges that hampers our chances massively. We really miss the Micic of last season and with no healthy center it’s costing us big time.
Bro doug when do we realize it’s Assistant Lee and his offensive sets i mean the X’s and O’s are just not good enough and you could tell because players like miles, micic, and Bmill just don’t look comfortable in this offense like cmon this nigga got Steve Clifford dream and cant do nothing with it
I don’t think his teammates are the issue at all (except for missing two centers). The defense, or at least effort, has drastically improved this season. However the ball sticks too much on offense. Too much iso ball or pull up 3s. Need to get the ball moving and use some of the athleticism of our wings to get to the rim. I think the lack of ball movement also encourages too much hero ball from Melo leading to many wasted possessions. Melo pulls it off more times than not, he surprises me on a nightly basis with the shots/plays he makes, but ultimately it isn’t a recipe to win games consistently.
It's a little bit of health, coaching, and finding a rhythm. It's a long season and we are 2 games back from the 3rd seed. It won't take a lot to be play in let alone a play off team this year.
Brandon miller is taking WAY to many 3’s that isn’t is game… he needs to hit mid range and then work his way out…. And us startling a 39 year old center isn’t helping
This team is absolute garbage. Any G league teams or NCAA teams can straight beat this pathetic team. And wtf were the front office thinking/seeing in Tidjane? They all need to be drug tested immediately.
@@carterthom7911 he is the youngest player in the draft, he needs sometime to develop. He does well on defense and I noticed him alot more than I noticed Josh Green last night.
@@tonydavis9472 that’s cuz Josh green is scared to shoot for whatever reason. Tidjane, on the other hand, is not scared and just can’t make his shots. He doesn’t look fluid at all and his jumper is two handed. Wouldnt be suprised if he’s back in France next year
Diabate is really using this opportunity well he deserves a spot on the rotation even after everyone is healthy

We need to trade micic to Denver, and sign dsj!
That’s cool and all but I think we need to prioritize getting another big I don’t think mark coming back anytime soon

He's fried ice cream. Why even mention his name when there are others out there that's better them him?

Doug is so cute by himself 🐝
This was the worst game they’ve played so far.. they need guys back quickly. They still aren’t deep enough to be able to win in spite of the injuries.

I’d gen rather have bertens than Josh green at this point, bro just runs up and down

Lamelo and the hornets are not on the same timeline, he might need to ask for a trade 🤷🏾♂️
Sad but true
My favorite player is Lamelo but im a rockets fan. Would you take Jalen Green, Van Fleet, Whitmore and all the picks for Lamelo?
@@lloyd2daworldgive us tari earson, reed sheppard & 5 frp and you got yourself a deal

Any explanation as to why both teams kept the starters in for a lopsided 4th quarter? Any NBA Cup goals that I'm not aware of?
Point Differential. It will be used to help break tiebreakers for the Group play for Cup Knockout rounds.

The problem is the roster doesn't have the athleticism or skill for that, the team is a mess rn

All these problems that would be solved with a healthy Richard’s and Mark Williams
Take a risk on the ball brothers first is let lámelo play with gelo and lonzo will come
If hornets make the playoffs you lose your 1st draft pick to the spurs... I think it's best to tank to get a big given the injuries already.
We need to resign poku. I like diabatae but the offense is bad. The Josh green experiment is also not it

Y’all still suck at drafting
There are only 2 players that was drafted in the top 10 that is avg double digits. And the #1 pick is scoring the highest in points at 11.
