About this video- In this video, see the 1947 interview of an elderly resident of village Thatta Gulab Singh. The village had three Sikh Namdars and two Muslim Namdars before the partition of 1947.The Muslims living in the village were Aryans, Maliks, weavers, potters and blacksmiths, Sikhs were Bajwa and Hindu Khatris also lived. There was also a Sarin Singh bandit. All the people of the village lived very lovingly. Sikhs did not allow Muslims to slaughter cows.
