When listening to it, I picture being in a neo noir movie, sitting in the bus or in a cozy recliner, staring out the window at night while it's pouring rain outside.

The picture now becomes a straight image, the knot untangled, and the members engage with each other in conversation and smiles. This is how I view the video. Great reaction as always. As you’ve noticed, winter albums are not really like Christmas albums, but more like slower songs made for reflection during the winter season. As for the painting in the MV, it’s like a different representation of the knots and troubles they feel before they finally reconnect and sort everything out at the end. But I also feel like it’s a nod to their logo from their album repackage of The War: The Power of Music. It’s the same yellow color.

Oohhhh yesss. Pierre is Back with Exo and that too Universe Album🙌 You know that ramen noodle picture or tangled thread type picture maybe it shows the complications in EXO world. Just like in your older reaction one fan wrote the whole concept. It is all about bitter(coffee)sweet or neutral relations (milk/sugar) of Exo and their journey. As one reactor said that The Tangled thread painting chaned to whole yellow painting with a straight Black black line.. so maybe it is after their hardships and complications got sorted out and their journey was on a proper track. Both the albums from 2017, The War and Universe still remain the best albums by exo till date. That's the last two times Kyungsoo still getting a descent lines as a main vocalists, and getting a main vocalist treatment. Because after that he got pushed at the back and only became a filler, an adliber a runner. 😢😅 I'm glad he's focusing on his solo touring getting gigs like the season, IU Palette, LMJ service and fancon to proof everyone's wrong, he's still an outstanding vocalist ever exist in KPop❤

Universe is perhaps my favourite EXO album… certainly one of their very best and one of the best kpop albums ever produced. Every song is beautifully produced and performed. Lights Out is definitely a lullaby for someone you love. It was written by Chen and it was no surprise that, 2 years later, he would announce his marriage to his long-term girlfriend. In Korea, those who celebrate Christmas are couples and friends (similar to Valentine's Day), it's seen as a private date for couples to cherish winter and the Yule tradition. So, they are more of a romantic kind. Saranghaja!
If you notice, the coffee symbolism does parallel to universe. And the main goal of the colour palette and coffe is to create warmth and comfort for the song.

This rope has always been tangled and twisted (ex. wrapping around Kai) to shown that they are lost/confused but after this "noodle" image, you see Baekhyun is standing in front of a clean canvas with one clear line and right after it is the straight rope on the table, indicated that they have found their way.

if you look closely you will realize that at first they are all stuck, tied, running away and sad. there always seems to be a knot in their life. but when they find that person in the vast universe, they are happy and smile. that's why the picture Sehun sees looks like tangled yarn and the scene change Baekhyun stands looking at the picture looks like a straight line
The music video' visual message alone is actually so deep. From my own perspective, all those tight and tangled ropes and yarn symbolizes their own struggles and suffocation. And the way it was untangled in the end, indicates their break free from that chaos, problem or suffocation. Anyway, it doesn't feel much in single sight, but looking deeply and through it, I somehow got that feeling. The way they're all starting to smile at the end, and the dark shadows looming in their faces are suddenly fading.

Universe is perhaps my favourite EXO album… certainly one of their very best and one of the best kpop albums ever produced. Every song is beautifully produced and performed.
Lights Out is definitely a lullaby for someone you love. It was written by Chen and it was no surprise that, 2 years later, he would announce his marriage to his long-term girlfriend. She’s a lucky lady 😊❤

Winter albums are always special, and they don't exactly have to do with Christmas as we celebrate it. In Korea, those who celebrate Christmas are couples and friends (similar to Valentine's Day), it's seen as a private date for couples to cherish winter and the Yule tradition. So, they are more of a romantic kind. Saranghaja!
If you notice, the coffee symbolism does parallel to universe. And the main goal of the colour palette and coffe is to create warmth and comfort for the song.

11:05 The tangled yellow line that made up EXO's logo in this scene is a 2-D representation of the rope that appeared throughout the MV. This rope has always been tangled and twisted (ex. wrapping around Kai) to shown that they are lost/confused but after this "noodle" image, you see Baekhyun is standing in front of a clean canvas with one clear line and right after it is the straight rope on the table, indicated that they have found their way.

Hola Pierre! Wonderful you did this reaction to one of my favourite, favourite albums. Is another jewel of their 👑 Universe is so soothing like you said, is my wake up alarm. You can hear their impeccable voices 🥰. And I don't know what is it but it gives me a special feeling. The MV is PERFECT because it doesn't need to much for give you a message. If you can get it of course 😅. That picture if you look very carefully, at first visual we see, it's all tangled and at the final shot, is a little bit loosen. That's part of the meaning of this MV. OMG, I'm crying !!! How beautiful review of Stay, this was the very first song I listened of EXO, is the song that made fell in loven with them, is the song that made me STAY. It's been 7 years, I've always return to this song because is so awesome. Add to that, that that fast rap made Chanyeol my bias (oh, I love them all, but my Giant Baby is my Giant Baby), THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU , 'cause you are the only person that have reacted to it and is a song that deserve to be listened more and more.

When I heard the tracks in Universe album, I decided that this is my favorite EXO album. All the tracks are amazing! ❤❤❤❤
The music video' visual message alone is actually so deep. From my own perspective, all those tight and tangled ropes and yarn symbolizes their own struggles and suffocation. And the way it was untangled in the end, indicates their break free from that chaos, problem or suffocation. Anyway, it doesn't feel much in single sight, but looking deeply and through it, I somehow got that feeling. The way they're all starting to smile at the end, and the dark shadows looming in their faces are suddenly fading.
The best thing in my mornings is a reaction to Exo’s albums by you, Pierre. Specially this album. Thank you so much.
Universe is their best winter album for me.
