This is true. As a church drummer, I've had moments that where I enter a roll or build early and I realize that I'm going to land off time. I cry out to the Lord and trust in Him, the Holy Spirit takes over with small fills that I have not practiced that lands me perfectly (and sounding a thousand times better).
It's always humbling when I see professional drummers mess up or drop their sticks too haha...it just goes to show we're all human and to just go with the flow. Amazing work!

I really love that feel on the drums. The timing and dynamics are not of this world. Deep laid back pocket and great choices for the song. I'm myself a drummer since 37 years back, and I definitely don't have this level of skill.
The first drop was unintentional but it caused the stick to flip around. The second was intentional to flip the stick back. Happens all the time when playing. Especially on large/ heavy cymbals like rides and big crash/rides.
