    Hi Matt,
    great advice,
    and never heard of this one before.! ! !
    BTW, you have a hypnotic glare in your eyes
    look carefully and you'll see the "ring light" !
    (you should also say:
    become a patron,.. become a patron.)

    Thanks. I’m using the Omega chanter with 3inch diameter holes. This might really be of help.

    Hey Matt...I burl with either a bounce & pull, or a figure 7 (as you talk about..) depending on the tune. With either one, coconut suntan oil makes them rip !!! Give it a try !!!!

      I just use my nose grease.... by running my pinky along each side of my nose, I get the grease on my pinky and it works wunders.... try it. And the best thing is, I always have my nose with me. So I can grease my pinky before a tune. Love it.

    What time of tape do you use? Electrical tape or bagpipe tape and what size?

    Just a random question, would a cane practice chanter reed need more breath than a synthetic reed or is there not much difference?

    • @MattWillisBagpiper
      @MattWillisBagpiper  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've heard cane practice chanter reeds take more air, but I've never actually played one...

      @@MattWillisBagpiper Thanks.
      You should do a review, play test and comparison video of a cane reed and synthetic reed (cane reed VS Frazer Warnock)

      @@MattWillisBagpiper Cane chanter reeds are similar to cane drone reeds or chanter reeds in that they vary from reed to reed and take much more maintenance than plastic practice chanter reeds. They are not really worth the aggravation.
