--PART 3 - This morning gave a fantastic (almost) private sighting of painted wolfs (wild dogs). 45 Minutes and many kilometers of driving with a pack of 16 dogs while they searched for prey. WOW
After one night at Biyamiti we drove to Talamati bushveld camp where we'll stay for two nights. On our way we crossed a wild fire which we reported to the rangers. They told us that they wouldn't extinguish the fire because it started naturally from lightning. Between Crocodile Bridge and Lower Sabie there were literally hundreds of vultures, eagles, kites and other raptors in the sky. Couldn't get that on video unfortunately..
We stopped at Lower Sabie for some food and drinks. On our drive we had a brief sighting of a male leopard that crossed the road right in front of our car before disappearing in the thickets. We also had a white rhino road block, buffalo road block, saw giraffe, elephants, warthogs, ostriches, hippos, steenbok and many other animals.
At Nhlanguleni picnic spot we had a beer and shared some stories with the manager before we got to our new bushveld camp: TALAMATI.
