The problem is no one wants to ans why she managed to lie so many times and yet still no one reported her wrong and if they are trying to conceal the lie. Esp when they knew she lied after she confess to the wp members right after the first lie. This is now the integrity issue of the whole party. The worker party members are now pushing the blame to one another. And from what i see from the cop is the lack of management and control of what the members speak in parliament and partly to blame is ps vague words to her. As much as it is her own reponsibility to own up the lie in parliament, as the leader of the party he shld at least own up on her behalf and reported her if she is reluctant to own up the 2nd time and not waste everyone time.

I heard the entire "interrogation" of PS. I think its unfair the committee targeted him. When PaP's MP did wrong, why did they not interrogate the Party's Chief?

It is very troubling to see double standard critics where some vocal people we know are very critical on PAP on such matters but yet extremely forgiving /indifferent toward WP and their leadership's concious inaction to take a chance in covering integrity issue of their MP.
Has PAP been transparent? A food for thought. To me it seems like PAP is using this case to bring down WP. I saw the way Edward Tong, a PAP member cross examine PS - it was biased and personal. That's explains the core agenda of our government magnifying this case. had Pritam told Raeesah to come clean from the start, this inquiry would be about why she lied and establishing details of her assault experience if it needed to come to that. but because Pritam rather she decided her own course out of concern for her well-being, the saga has now got into a twisted mess. we are no wiser now why she has lied as she has diverted the shit to WP. the three parties - Raeesah, the PAP and the WP - have now messed up the saga, but i would say Pritam is the most forgivable as he has acted out of goodwill and compassion.

There's literally only one reason why this can happen and it doesnt really affect us. And everyone forgets this.

When you suddenly realized that you now know the key members of the WP party who were less significant to you before this event occurred. Suddenly the question you asked yourself comes up, "Why make them (WP) more popular to the nation? And was this event pre-planned? The government clearly has the entire blueprint of Singapore's network, wealth, ministries, parliament broken into protocols that adhere to one another and they work in a regulative system that runs the nation as it is. The government in itself runs through a legislative nature of separate departments of ministries who govern their own credibility. (LTA, MOM, MHA, etc, etc). As a leader he should hv anticipated that the police will check to see if this incident really happened (if they bochap, they will prob hv the same std as malaysia police force), and if it did happen, sg police force will hv to deal with this and ensure tbey hv proper training to deal with sexual assault cases with sensitivity going forward.
