Mitigating circumstances mean any such circumstance/factor which lessen the harshness or severity of a crime by holding a criminal less blameworthy due to some justifiable facts apparent on the face of the case like, minority and insanity of criminal, on the other side aggravating circumstances means such circumstance/factor which increases the harshness or severity of a criminal act by holding a criminal more blameworthy due to some heinous facts apprant on the face of the case like, lack of proper care, negligence, previous conviction and an amount of rashness of a criminal act, hope you got answer dear!
