I think if the xfl can hang around long enough it will get some better coaches and QBs and could be a success. I personally love all these guys who get 2nd chances to play football even though they’re not in the nfl
It’s only Week 1, the teams are still sorta messy in regards of chemistry but by Week 4-5, they should all have it down. Can’t wait for some high scoring games!
Honestly, there are a good amount of recent ex-nfl players and coaches. I was surprised at the level of talent the league had to start out first year. Just this game alone. Add to that, all the good recent D1 college players who just missed being drafted, or were cut late in the preseason of the NFL. This league has very good talent and coaching. I’m liking it.
Also, there are several XFL players from last time in 2020 who are now NFL players. Taylor Heinicke for example, was an XFL QB in 2020…then the Redskins (WFT) grabbed him, and he almost beat Tom Brady and the Bucs in a playoff game that year! This league has excellent talent. It should only get better.

Heartbreaking loss. The Dragons look really good despite some mistakes that participated in the loss. I'm optimistic Seattle can learn here and has the potential to go really far this season. GoDragons!

I kind of agree. And the one thing that is bugging me mostly on the uni side of things is the Renegades "R" logo on the helmet. Either it should be dark blue on the light blue helmet, or the helmet should be dark blue with a light blue logo. And Seattle... too much orange.

Bad QB play is going to make these games hard to watch. So many bad interceptions this first week. Lots of talent elsewhere but at the most important position these new leagues are lacking.
I think it's because a lot of these guys are older or they are just not used to the speed of the game yet. Idk tbh. I do think tho that spread offenses are the way to go for this league. Air raid type offenses so far have done well. Arlington was the only pro style offense I really saw and they didn't score anything offensively. I feel like a guy like Marcus Mariota would be pretty dang good in this league.
@King Chaos yeah, it's kinda harsh to judge any one's particular performance week 1 I suppose too. The good thing is the staduims seemed to be pretty well packed. Hopefully it got some viewers on TV as well. I'd love to see this actually Last this time.
