He just spoke out against the Dahmer series and the Bundy film, which I find very bold and impressive because he's basically making statements against his "employer." Think that's a huge part of why he's perfect as Joe, he has the moral compass the character lacks--to put it very simply.
Hes too good of an actor to play Ted, its not new, its not interesting lol just cus people have a weird obsession with Bundy, they want Penn to play him. To add more to the weird obsession lol Penn deserves a better role/story
