I think I have watched this episode a hundred times and I still enjoy it...! Practically memorized the dialogues by now! 😀
Violet didn't really have daddy issues, she had an issue with the fact that Christy could never just give her 100% of her attention to the important times in her life. Everything had to be about her sobriety, her friends or her career, never about her kids. Christy couldn't put aside the fact that her kids needed more than what she gave to them, and Christy always fought for her friends but never her kids in the same way. Bonnie at least was there for Violet more times than Christy was
You do realize Violet was a brat right? Like she had a job when they had a house but she wanted her mom to pay for maternity pants. Yes Christy wasn’t the best parent but at least she took responsibility. Violet never could take responsibility for her own mistakes.
@@kittynorville9125 ummm when did Christy ever take responsibility for her past? Anytime Bonnie or Violet reminded her of her mistakes, she always turned to Bonnie being a bad parent. Bonnie at least came to peace with it and did accept the mistakes she made with Christy. Violet had her dark years too but in the end she found her way to accept and move forward without Christy, not like her mother ever supported her anyways
@@annmeler5632 I never said she was perfect. She also gambles for crying out loud. But Bonnie didn’t want to take responsibility for that dui remember? Got her in more trouble with the judge.
@@kittynorville9125 And yet whenever Bonnie messes up, Christy just builds on it but whenever someone calls out Christy, shes the victim. Her gambling costed her the roof over her head and her children's safety. Violet could've made better decisions, if only she had better role models
