For a house of indeterminate (but assumed) age, it’s possible that the sink is hinged. It would fill with water while you use it and when you’re done, you sort of tip the sink bowl and there’s a larger bowl with a drain beneath it. I don’t know if that description makes sense, it’s hard to say what it does
I was looking online to find this concept and couldn't locate anything about it. Is there a specific name, or year for these? I just want to look them out of curiosity.
@@Bragapple I almost went mildly insane trying to find it online, they’re evidently VERY obscure. I originally saw it in a tik-tok, BUT I just found a TH-cam video called “how a Victorian pivoting dip sink works” that shows it. Admittedly, looking at it-and the sort of built in handle-that doesn’t seem to be the case for the in-game sink. You’ve converted me, they definitely just forgot to put a drain in. 😂
I can't find it in English, but I did find a Dutch website where the idea comes across (search: "antieke wasbak frans klooster", I think the link to the website was the reason that my comment disappeared?) It could be that or maybe a (Victorian?) Washstand. I have one of those at home. You fill the bowl with a jug and when you are finished you can remove the bowl from its frame to empty it, but that seems kinda unlikely, because it has a faucet. I do think that its also a real possibility that they just forgot to put a drain in it, but these options would be cooler haha
Just gotta add, not sure if anyone mentioned. The lock pick, try a few more times on the same door, it may work some times. Also try combining with another item in the workshop so it has higher chances to lock pick doors, also rmb to try lock picking more than once!!
